The food was so good! I had chicken PHO and my husband had a Gyro. They were both excellent and fresh. The owner โMamma Sueโ is an absolute sweetheart. A hardworking immigrant who loves people and food.
I appreciate a good burger and sandwich- I will admit I was only expecting average food due to the smaller and not on the standard tourist path. However, I have to say I was very impressed. Compared to the other places the prices are fair and the food has a homemade feel. I would defiantly come here

Lots of good, traditional breakfast and lunch menu items available for purchase by weight. Sandwiches can also be made-to-order and the salad bar is good. Cafe 59 had some of the best Pho soup and Bibimbap I've had in DC. Owner/operator is very approachable and you'd think she was just part of the

Great little place hidden in DC! Came here after our group saw the cafe we wanted to go to was closed. Well priced food, good food, and homey feel.
