We love the Wydown! It’s the perfect place to grab a coffee, a delicious ious breakfast burrito, catch up with friends, or get some work done. Seating is a little limited, but we can usually find a nook in the seating in the lobby of the Apollo which is open to coffee shop customers.

Sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich was great and fairly priced. I also enjoyed the iced latte I got. This is a good quick stop coffee shop with a few tasty sandwiches.
Lovely indoor and outdoor setting? Check. Solid coffees and mochas? Check. A good variety of breakfast savories like salmon bowls, sausage and egg biscuit sandwiches, and avocado toast? Check. All of this making the H St Wydown repeatable? You bet!

Loved the ambiance and staff was so friendly. The cherry almond scone was recommended and didn’t disappoint. Texture wasn’t perfect but flavour was great, and loved the americano.
Low-key one of my favorite spots in town. Preparation, atmosphere and customer experience 5/5. They always have a good slow bar menu and colorful single origin espresso. Highly recommend.
Wydown is the definition of modern coffee shop aesthetics. Black and gold interior, floral designs, and friendly barista. Located inside the Apollo luxury apartment and steps away to the Solid State Bookshop. Will have to come back often!

Vibes: good. Chill music. Clean. Nice staff. Wide walkways but only one booth/table everything else is bar or high tops outside.
Coffee: medium body and tasty. Definitely freshly brewed (came at 1030 am)
Food: the classic was very tasty. cinnamon bun is dessert level rich.

Best place to work or read away from NW. The location of the coffee shop inside the Apollo building gives you access to their amazing lobby of two floors! You can sit anywhere where it’s comfortable to you.
The Wydown will be to the south end of H Street NE what Maketto is to the north end of H Street providing a classy, yet accessible atmosphere with top notch coffee and pastries. The only real difference is The Wydown doesn't have wifi, a move to encourage face to face connection.

A wonderful breakfast sausage - the breakfast sausage was amazing. The decor and ambiance was very nice as well. Very kind stuff, as well. The coffee was good and comparably priced, with a nice rang of milks and creamers to add.
Wydown is a cool tea/coffee shop. I really like the matcha here. They have WiFi a lot of seating and great views. The second floor window seating is very nice. The staff is very friendly and make great conversation. They also serve breakfast foods and pastries.
