Little Sesame - Washington DC - Photo album

Little Sesame is absolutely divine! The hummus is creamy, rich, and so so so smooth. You’ll understand why you got the whole bowl! I recommend the classic hummus bowl with the cucumber side salad. The pita is warm, pillowy and perfectly seasoned with crispy za‘atar.
Okay the food is totally amazing and the restaurant is so cute! BUT there isn’t nearly enough seating!!! We had to wait with our for sooo long and then there weren’t enough chairs. And it just made it for a stressful dinner situation. So would recommend take out for sure, because I did love the humm
The eggplant pita was tasty and the butterfly lemonade I liked. The inside of the restaurant is really cute and clean. There was alot of cilantro in the sandwhich which personally I am not a fan of... and alittle pricey for the portion size but overall good.
The best hummus I’ve ever had - smooth and full of umami. The chicken shwarma is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any other hummus bowls. However, their to-go (ready to eat) tub of hummus weren’t as good as the bowls.
Very good food. Cooked just right and served with pita bread which is great. A lot of sides for one dish, family chicken meal was enough for me and one other person. They also gave me a free sample of the oat milk icecream which was very nice 👍
We have been to this location a few times. My past favorite was the roasted squash hummus bowl but I like the new pita sandwiches even more. The eggplant sabich is a total comfort food and I dream about it often. Combination of roasted eggplant, potatoes, egg, cabbage, amba and green schug sauce. It
Interesting concept — their focus is hummus bowls with a wide array of toppings, everything from roasted vegetables to tapenades, soft-boiled eggs, oils and seeds, all served with a pita. Visited a similar place in Amsterdam and this both feels and tastes similar. Portions aren't huge, but the flavo
Solid spot for lunch. I've even taken food home for dinner. I will say that that sandwiches are awesome. The bowls are heavy on the oil and hummus side. You really have to like both to properly enjoy the bowl. The sides like the cauliflower are pretty good but leave a burnt taste in your mouth when
The shakshuka hummus was good, but incredibly small (you got more Pita than actual entree). The ice cream cone was refreshing though!
My partner and I have been regular guests of Little Sesame for about a year and a half. The food is well priced and yummy and light but will still leave you feeling full. Any friends I’ve taken here have been pleasantly surprised how much better Little Sesame hummus is compared to grocery store alt
