Busboys And Poets In Anacostia - Washington DC - Photo album

Everything was amazing. The service and the food good. The catfish was fried perfectly. The greens didn’t have a lot of flavor but the dish was a good combo with grits. This was a great vibe for listening to music, enjoying drinks, and eating.
Had a party of 11. I was the first to arrive and service from start to finish was great. Our server was quick and apparently took good notes as every order was correct. I loved the selection of art as well as their diverse and inclusive book selection. I didn't want any alcohol and their selection
This location is bigger than the Takoma one. It is located in the heart of the Hyattsville Art District. Easy to park around the area. The food and service is great.
1st time at this location. It was what I expected from B&P.. Loved the atmosphere, the incredible art, service was top notch and prompt. So glad to see this in the bustling and historic Anacostia. When I visit my 2nd home again that is DC, I will definitely have to revisit this location.
This was my first time at this location. I was too hype about getting a JFK (drink). I was told I could not get one. That was disappointing since I was visiting and do not live in the area. The service was slow, we had to ask for help but overall the food was very good and the music was a vibe. The
The banana bread pudding and key lime pie were 💯💯💯 Was served by the lovely waitress named Malaysia and I’m from Malaysia! 😭
Stopped here for a late dinner and ordered the Brussels sprouts, fried Brussels sprouts and the shrimp and grits. Everything was exceptional! The shrimp and grits were like none I've ever had before and I highly recommend! Our server Sandy was wonderful. The vibe here was laid back and I apprecia
Busboys and Poets was an excellent restaurant that is full of great art, many local events, and even a book store. This location is within a Community Collaborative building and you can feel the strong community connection. There were many different tables for big and small groups as well as bar se
I really enjoyed my experience at Busboys and Poets, the environment is very well maintained and spacious. I love how they have art posted & a book area. The staff are very attentive and helpful, not to mention the food is delicious. I like it. Definitely gonna return
I ordered the blackened salmon, wild rice, and asparagus. The salmon was pretty good. It definitely had a little kick to it, but the white sauce that they give you to put over the salmon, is what really amazed me. The sauce was creamy, savory, and very well seasoned. I am so happy that I ordered the
Solid breakfast! If you are okay with a long wait to get a table, you will ultimately enjoy it. It’s nice that they have a bookstore with a lot of inspiring books to look at while you wait. The vegan options are also a plus.
No problem for a party of 7 with no reservations. Happy, enjoyable staff, great attentive service. The food was AMAZING! Sweet potato pancakes Rock!!! Dinner was so delicious we went back for breakfast. Fresh, high quality food and drinks at a great price!
A very fine establishment with a great staff. I love how they converted whatever old building this was into a restaurant, it gives it this rustic feel. The huge windows are a plus too, they give off a bunch of natural light. The food here is good, if you've been to any other bus boys you know what t
Really nice place, menù really interesting. Cocktails were really particular. I had shrimp and grits and it was AMAZING! First of all it made me so full that I had to take 10 minutes to be able to leave the table and second it was cooked perfectly! Highly reccomend for a date night or friends/family
We've been to a few of their locations between Maryland and DC and everything from service to food is always consistently great. Our daughter enjoys going thru their book sections as well.
