I came here for my birthday and this place did not disappoint at all! I was so satisfied with the gnocchi and my friend had capriellie. The portions were appropriate (I was extremely full).
Special mention to our server, Duc, who was honestly the highlight of the experience. He cared about us and made sure I had a free cake to celebrate my birthday. He was so wonderful.
I will be coming back next month!
Service was fast and friendly. They didn’t linger too long but stopped by often to check on us. The food was presented nicely and my friend really enjoyed her dish. I found my entree to be lacking flavor but it was the first time I had tried that kind of dish, so maybe that was par for the course. I have nothing to compare it to. The pasta was cooked perfectly! Loved the atmosphere and the sleek design throughout the restaurant.
Unfortunately they were out of a lot of drink options on a Monday evening.
Service was great though, she was very accommodating and tried her best to sort these issues out.
I ordered the grilled salmon which was fantastic.
All in all a great restaurant.
Went for late lunch/happy hour around 3pm. Food was very good, fresh and came out hot, portions were great for the price. Chicken wings excellent, friend gnocchi very good, and buratta was good. Wasn’t super happy with the service. They kind of forgot about me though. I had to waive down the server after waiting 7-10 minutes. But I think the GM was there and didn’t really do much but stand and chat. Not 100% it was the GM but it was someone who worked there and I got supervisor vibes. Also, server dragged feet when moving around which I found a tad bothersome.
Beautiful surroundings and delicious food! Karolina served my drinks at the bar. Very professional atmosphere at the bar thanks to her. She was very accommodating. The manager, Thomas, made sure all my needs were met and he came personally to introduce himself. He made sure I was happy. I got a nice table outside and my waiter, Deshawn made sure my food was exceptional and served in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.
The food is just OK, it’s just a meal. The portions are smaller so it’s perfect for date night/if you have somewhere to go and you don’t want to carry left overs. The service is great, drink menu is nice. A tad bit pricy but you’re paying for the vibe.
The food (4/5):
I ordered the 'B.E.C. Bagel for breakfast and it was very delicious. However there wasn’t really much of a choice to pick from in my opinion.
The service (5/5):
They were super nice and very chill. You could tell, that they love what they’re doing. I’m a simple man. When the vibe is right it’s an easy 5 stars.
The restrooms (?/5):
If you know any of my other reviews you know, that I love ratinv the restrooms. I couldn’t really find any in this one though. But I don’t wanna pull the score down that much and still respect this place so I won’t give them a 0 out of 5 for that one.
Only had cocktails with amazing service from a young woman from VA. She made excellent gin and tonic with a new gin to me, #Engine an Italian gin, clean and smooth! Yummy 😋
A must stop to get the very best is the Society Room ❤️
We had the 3 course meal which was a bit expensive for the portion sizes, especially since that was the only menu offered that day. I was also disappointed with the lack of Vegetarian options on the 3-course menu. The dessert, Chocolate Budino was too strong and needed more Caramel or Peanut Butter to mellow it a little.
On the plus side, the customized pasta and the salad was delicious. The service was really good as well.
Great place for a casual dining, with exquisite food. Most main entree are good, except for the NY strip.
Extremely classy restaurant with great decor and a good energy environment. The food was amazing and definitely worth the price. I got cheaper wine and it was still perfect for the occasion. I really liked our server because he knew that we were low maintenance and let us take our time to enjoy the experience but still delivered everything quick and asked us if we needed anything else without interrupting conversation.

Food was great, service could of been better. Didn't know they had a pizza menu till after we ordered and seen it, then asked for it. Server was very non engaged with us. Ended up charging one card when we were trying to split 3 ways. Food was great
A wonderful dinner in the heart of downtown Washington! We were looking for some light Italian food in DC and stumbled upon Via Sophia inside a beautiful hotel! We had some delicious appetizers including the fois gras and liver mousse and the whipped ricotta with honey. I only wish the bread the ricotta was served on had been a little crispier! It was difficult to cut into but the flavors were delicious! The stand out was absolutely the desert menu. We had the Italian doughnuts and the chocolate budino both of which were amazing! The bathroom is a little hidden in the middle of the restaurant but overall the place is lovely! Our server was friendly and the cocktails were refreshing! We will be back soon to try out the pasta!
