Lots of tasty menu options along with a great salad bar. Prices have been creeping up over the past few years but it's still moderately priced. The service is generally very good. Lots of parking.
Charlie Browns is a good place to go for lunch or dinner. There is a nice selection of dishes on the menu including burgers, steak, chicken, ribs and fish. The Crab Cakes are a nice meal and the Crispy lemon chicken is delicious with garlic mashed potatoes. The salad bar has a great selection of items and is a highlight of every visit.
I've been here a few times to dine in and have always been pleased with service and the food. On my last visit, I took a seat at the bar to order takeout and have a beer while I waited. The bar staff was pleasant and efficient. I was in and out within 15-20 minutes. When I got home, the ribeye was a perfect medium-rare, exactly as ordered.
Great salad bar. The menu has a large variety of food choices that will make everyone happy. I loved the bake salmon dinner. Another plus, the service is always good. I look forward to my next visit.
It was great. The place is big with a room downstairs that has a bar and the room upstairs with a salad bar and many more tables. They had a nice Oktoberfest menu of seasonal specials which were really good. We were seated quickly and all the food was really good. Out waitress was very friendly and helpful. Many entrees come with the salad bar, but you can add it for $4.99 to any of the other dishes.
This restaurant is a reliably good family standby for us when we visit Bergen County. The salad bar is wonderful, and is a hit with the whole family. The food is good and service was kind, if a little slow. The steaks are enjoyable, and the kids meals are some of the best we've encountered.
Solid steak place as I've been coming to this location for over 20+ years. Decor is a bit old but considering the layout and age it's not a negative issue as most of the food is made well, consistent and fresh. Salad bar is a great option to take when sitting in the dining area and service is friendly, fast and very attentive. Great for families, babies and kids. We'll be back again in the near future.
The food and service was great. I needed to find a location to host an 80th Birthday party 30 guests and always liked the salad bar and prime rib at Charlie Browns, but hadn’t been to this location in many years. I called and spoke to Mary an assistant manager there and she had the general manager Lance return my call we worked out all the details over the phone, booked all my requests handled very professionally. The party was a great success and all 30 guest had a good time, food was great servers Linda and Andrea were very professional couldn’t ask for more!! Salad Bar was great, prime rib great; fish was great everything was great.
My wife and I went to Charlie Browns in Washington Township for Valentine's Day last night. We have gone there many times and I proposed to my wife at the restaurant in 2017.
We find the food delicious and the service there very good, although last night we had a superb waitress. Her name is Andrea. She gave us excellent service and was extremely attentive to us in our dinning needs..
She was so good that we will ask for her to be our waitress whenever we go there.
She is an asset to Charlie Browns and they are very fortunate to have Andrea as their waitress.
Always a great place for dinner. Salad bar is always fresh and plentiful, courses are full of flavor and appropriately sized and priced. Host staff are clean, friendly, quick and pleasant. Great value on the gift cards for the holiday stocking stuffers.
Very nice and welcoming! Great food. Nice interior. Waitstaff was a little too aggressive, brought our check before we asked. We wanted to add dessert. Otherwise it was a great place for a good meal! Would definitely recommend.
great food! Had take out. Family oriented It's an older place upper and lower levels. Old time Bar, which is great if you like that atmosphere. Can be noisy. If your looking for more modern and spacious this isn't it.
had a lunch date with my mom here and my two sons. the food was good and the staff friendly. we had nachos and quesadilla's and my sons had chicken fingers and a burger off the kids menu and we took a lot of it home. it was a lot of food but boy were we happy later to have it as a snack!
we found this place by accident on our way to Atlantic City. The food was good the deserts looked awesome but we didn't get a chance to try them. Our waitress was a little rushed and Scattered she got our order wrong but in the end we were happy. We are going to make sure that we include this restaurant in our itinerary the next time we go to Atlantic City. Especially to try the desserts.
