Lived in Wasilla for almost 10 months now and I had no idea this place even existed. So glad I came across this place today while searching for sandwich shops online. They’re the real deal. You’ll be blown away by the size of your sandwich and they aren’t chincy with the amount of meat they put on your sandwich either (like some places are) 😉 I had the Rueben and it was great 👍🏼 I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
Breadcrumb is the best sandwich shop in Alaska! Food is amazing, portions are very big and staff is so friendly. Highly recommend!
The Breadcrumb is the best place for sandwiches in the valley. Two beautiful, friendly women serving the biggest sandwiches for the price,well worth the value! What more can a man ask for, good conversation, great food all served with a smile!
Best sandwich I have ever had in Alaska - and I love sammiches. Plus the service was fast and friendly. Have no doubt this will be a regular stop from now on. Husband was insanely jealous of the picture i texted him lol

I cannot say I've tried a variety of her sandwiches by now, because I keep going through withdrawal for those amazing REUBENs. By the time I get a chance to get to her restaurant again, I absolutely must have another Reuben! Such yumminess, and the best pickles ever!

I got a made to order veggie sandwich today and it is SO good. Great portions, good quality and a yummy sandwich! On the less healthy side, her chocolate chip cookies are amazing too. �

The Ruben is large n stuffed with all the good things any foodie is looking for in a true Ruben. Marcy is a gracious host and conversationist, this was thoroughly an enjoyable endeavor in the search for a uber Ruben.
Such an amazing sandwich! She’s a one woman show, so be patient. It’s well worth the wait when she’s busy! Never seen a sandwich or salad that compares!

Today was my first time going to The Breadcrumb. I had read previous reviews that said the hours aren't always reliable, so I went off of what The Breadcrumb's facebook page said since it seems to be updated more often there. The owner Marcy greeted me just as I entered the cafe. She was very friendly and upbeat. There were a few people ahead of me, but it wasn't much of a wait. She was the only one working, and it's my understanding that it's a one woman show. She does everything herself and was doing a fantastic job keeping up with orders and chatting with customers.
I decided to order the Optimus Prime Sandwich which is made with London broil, Pepper Jack Cheese, Horseradish, Red Onion, Red peppers, and Jalapenos on toasted bread. It came with potato chips and a pickle. It was only $11.50 and considering how much food there was I think that's a definite bargain. There's more than enough to share with another person. The sandwich was so delicious and I would order it again. A few people ahead of me ordered salads and those looked massive too.
The Customer Service and food here is great. I'll absolutely be back.
Best sammies in the valley! This is a one person shop, and the owner hustles to make each sandwich and salad to order. Very busy the last few times I went, but it's worth the wait!
The most delicious and best sandwiches in the valley! The Optimus Prime is my favorite, definitely worth the drive, the sandwich literally was lunch and dinner, it was packed with tender slices of beef, had the right amount of spice and the bread was fresh! If you had more stars I would give them. We're going again to try the others!
