The food is always great at the Penguin. Thick sandwiches, great burgers, the fish and chips is always my go to fav. Sandy (owner) is always a delightful bartender and knows all the Waterford scoop. The Angry Penguin looks and feels like a pub should. Warm and welcoming. Food is good, service friendly. I don't drink beer, but those who do say the selection is amazing. I drink the draft hard cider. Try the bread pudding. It's awesome. Sandy, the proprietress, is a delight.

Had friends visit from out of town went for late Sunday lunch. Says they open at 3pm. Showed up at 4:30, there was 1 guy drinking at the bar and a guy behind the bar. He told us kitchen won't start until about 5. Place was smelly & dark so we left.
