Great dinner location! We sat at the bar. Bar tender was on her own, so service was a tad slow, we didn't have anywhere to be, so it was no big deal to us. Salad was very fresh and the homemade dressing was excellent. Great cut of Prime Rib! Restaurant was extremely clean, everyone was very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. Will definitely be back for another visit.

My wife and I used to go there for pizza when I was a 10th mountain division soldier 30 plus years ago. Some of the best mom and pop New York style Pizza I've ever had in my life.

This place is unbelievable. True story, I stumbled across this place by chance while passing through town and was completely blown away. The food was so amazing, the service was on point, and the prices were beyond fair. I enjoyed it so much that I came back that I came back the next night to try more of the diverse menu. No joke, hand on heart, the food was so good that I fully intended on taking a photo and writing a review and only made it to the soup both times before I was completely distracted and never got another picture. The Fairground Inn is a MUST when visiting Watertown. I can’t imagine eating anywhere else when I visit.

Went here for a quick bite to eat with some friends. The environment was very relaxed and it had a local history tied into the decor. Food was great as well as the service. Definitely a local favorite, would recommend!

Usually excellent. My chicken (Fairgrounds Chicken dinner) was overcooked and very dry. I always love their salads with the house dressing and any of the sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients including veg's and bread. My family also enjoyed a pizza and French Onion soup.
