Since we've been here in Illinois we have eaten here twice ,our son graduated from the Navy. He wanted some good food and he and I got the Philly cheese steak with fries and soup. The soup we got was chicken noodle and it was great. He loved the Philly cheese steak and it was big and full of stuff.

It's an old diner that has every option on the menu. Breakfast,Hispanic,Greek,American, southern, and steaks? Normally you would think that this causes all the food to be bad, but they are weirdly consistent at like a 4/5 on everything.

My family ate here while we stayed in the howard johnson hotel across the parking lot for my brother’s navy graduation. The broasted chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The waffle was large, fluffy, and delicious. It came with generous portions of syrup and butter. Staff was friendly and attentive. S
Great place to eat!!! Family dining, great wait staff. Unlimited coffee :) very reasonable prices. Did I mention great wait staff??? Great food breakfast, lunch or dinner. If I ever return to the Chicago area I will definitely make a special trip to eat here
Rosey was are waitress and she did an exceptionally good job. We came 2 days for breakfast while we were in the area. We requested her the second day and she didn't disappoint us.
