This White Castle was just remodeled and it looks great! Service was professional, and fast. Food was delicious and made fresh. Highly recommend the onion rings. So delicious! Come check their new look out.
Home of the original slider. The chicken rings are delicious. Wonderful and friendly customer service. Drive-thru is fast. Plenty of parking.

I live in Washington State so I don't get the luxury of visiting White Castle unless I'm traveling for various reasons. For some reason I usually end up at this exact establishment every time, so it's a good thing to see they're always here as I can watch them grow. Last visit was about 4 to 6 years ago. Unlike other times where I go slowly for myself, This time I was on a mission to feed six people back in Washington, some which have never even seen or heard of a White Castle, and others which have not had it and over a decade. The offer packs of sliders up to 60 count. I do not eat beef, so this time was surprised to see many more nonbeef selections. If available, I will usually partake in the breakfast menu because I love breakfast food and can eat it at any time of the day. To my amazement this restaurant, unlike some other fast foods, served breakfast all day. I had to try the French toast bacon sliders, which were pleasantly fulfilling but not amazing. But for the price of everything, especially during these high cost times, it was totally worth it. I spent around 45 to $55 and was able to feed myself and six others. The sliders made it all the way back to Washington State unharmed.
Nothing like the smell of sliders in the morning with pickles, grilled onions and of course ketchup added. They may not be healthy for you but of course you can't live forever. So what the heck? The Gurnee location has a friendly staff and cooks up the sliders quick
Did an online order for a 30 pack. When I arrived, the place was very busy, with only 3 people working. Saw them make my burgers and other stuff. They were so organized. Staff was efficient and polite. Burgers were great and hot!
Went there today craving those tiny burgers. Haven't ate white castle in a few years and wasn't aware how big the menu has grew. So decided to put together a "tasting" menu. I ended up getting basically 2 of everything (1 for me and 1 for the wife) and we tried it all. Needless to say I was pleasantly suprised how fast and fresh everything was. The cashier was very attentive considering how big my order was. Everything came out quick witch was a plus. So service was great, food was good no complaints and the order was correct. Only thing I would change is update the dining room everything is showing its age. But all in all couldent be happier with our trip. Attached photo is of the order.
The crew at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday July 30th absolutely killed it! Super sweet and professional. Accommodated the bus of my peers and I and did an amazing job. Highly recommend this white castle and the crew tonight. Will visit again when back in town

White Castle in Gurnee is really good! We were craving it tonight and we went for the gusto!! Crave case with cheese 3 large orders of crispy fires! 😋 We haven't had White Castle in so long so tonight we really enjoyed it!
The guy taking orders is unpleasant to say the least. The manager came out after I ordered and was great,very friendly welcoming. Definitely a guy you want representing your brand!
Since the remodel everything has gone downhill. I loved this White Castle before, but now I am done with it. They have screwed up orders twice (really bad), wait times are thru the roof, the burgers tasted awful (threw most of them out). Looks like most of the old help is no longer there (probably could not afford to hang on while place was closed for remodel) and the new help is either lazy or poorly trained. Honestly, it pains me to have to write a review like this of a place I used to really love. Go to the one in Round Lake if you want real White Castle customer service and good food.
Ordered 2 crave cases, one originalone with cheese. Food was exactly as expected, the service was great too. It's no 5 star restaurant, but when the crave hits, it is the only place to go.
Every now and then I get that craving for the "other" burger which is a break from the big 3- McD's, BK & Wendy's. Only, White Castle was by far the first and oldest fast food burger chain in America so really the big 3 are the other burgers.
Sliders are unique and much different than your typical burger and there's nothing out there that tastes like them. Nothing like a few sliders accompanied by some crinkle cuts and a soft drink.
The Waukegan location closed down over a year ago but luckily the Gurnee (only WC location in Lake county) stands.
In any location I've been to, venue is always kept clean, customer service is always friendly and food always cooked right and tasting good.
Hard to believe that at some point next year, White Castle turns 100! They may not have nowhere near as many locations as the big 3 but they still have the bragging rights of being America's 1st and oldest fast food burger chain.
