Sunset House Restaurant - Waukegan - Photo album

Our portions were large and very good. This was the first time I've been to this restaurant. The second time for my wife. She had the potato pancakes, two eggs and two slices of bacon. I had the biscuits and gravy, two eggs and two slices of bacon. We definitely will eat here again. Don't be like us
A cool little vintage restaurant that gives off very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The server was such a sweetheart and so caring to us! She offered her input on the menu and what we should get. The food was delicious and the price is great too! My only downside would be that the water and lemonade
🤠✔️Nice folks, good prices, John and Effie have been there a long time. They take pride in their ownership, and service of the customers. The Motif is a little dated, but it can be a very cozy dining experience. There are areas inside the restaurant where you can eat in privacy. The food is always g
The food was awesome. The homemade chicken and dumpling soup really was homemade ... just like Grandma's. The corned beef hash portion was HUGE. My friend said the BLT wrap was delicious however the french fries!! Woah!! You have to have the french fries here! The waitress was nice and chatted with
An amazing hidden (unnoticed) jem of a family restaurant. We came to try it for lunch. The food was delicious. Fantastic service and we're hoping to be back often.
Everything was excellent from the service to the food. Loved the cinnamon French toast. And I was skeptical of the hamburger chowder until I tried it. It was GOOD. Definitely coming here again.
Little hole in the wall. Waitress was on point and took our order and sat us in a booth 5min tops. Food was good and fast and hot. Will definitely go again.

Very clean. Female owner/waitress was super sweet, nice, polite. Reasonable prices. Not long waiting for food. This was our first time there we would definitely go back again. They have homemade potato pancakes which were delicious.
What I great place I never knew was there. Was looking for a breakfast diner off of Robert McClory bike path and spotted this from google maps. Stopped there from the trail and was greeted by a kind person at the door and sat down for a tremendous breakfast. I ordered eggs and pancakes and my son o
H for happy days. Our server was so sweet, food was great.
Great food and service. I suggest you try the Homestyle Cinnamon French toast. Whether on a sandwich or like waffles with syrup. Its unique and good.
My wife and I went here every weekend when we lived down the street. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. I honestly didn't want to go the first time, the outside left little to the imagination, but we will always go back when we are in town. The owners are very nice and treat
Overall I was satisfied with the good quality of food. The decor of the place reminds me of being grandmas house, meaning it's a bit outdated. Don't let that steer you away tho since your here for the food. I enjoyed my order of over easy eggs and hash browns. Small local place that can beat out the
