My first visit to the North Avenue Grill this morning.
Just awesome!
The place was packed(never a bad sign for a restaurant), the energy level high, the patrons in good spirits and understanding of the high volume demands placed on the staff, and the staff working like busy bees creating mounds of food and handling the demand as well as can be humanly expected.
I ordered “The Wolf” omelette, with sides of cut American fries & fruit. In keeping with my strict diet I complimented my breakfast with a chocolate malt!
Portion size was generous, the food well prepared, seasoned, and presented, and the chocolate malt as good as I have had.
Good on ya North Avenue Grill, great food, fun atmosphere, and a hard working staff from top to bottom.
I will tip well today, promise to return shortly, and encourage others to do the same. It is an honor and a privilege to have establishments such as the North Avenue Grill in the neighborhood.
Today was my first time here for breakfast. . I must say you get your money's worth. Good service, good variety on the menu and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning and recommend that you give it a try if you're ever in the Tosa area!
On a coworker's suggestion, I tried North Avenue Grill and I must say it was a great experience. I had the Chicken fried steak and eggs. It was delicious!

By far one of my favorite spots in the Milwaukee area to eat. The Sunday Brunch satisfies every craving and the lunch/dinner menus are to die for

Tasty food and extremely large portions. Very crowded but the wait was only about 20-25 minutes. Service was excellent and price reasonable. Highly recommend.
I'm visiting from Kansas this weekend and my son-in-law and I came in today for lunch. I *had* to order the Wisconsin burger and it was amazing. Our service was excellent and we enjoyed our server a lot!

The food was very good, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. It was busy but well worth the wait to sit outside with family.
Everything I have ever had there is good friendly service too it does not seem that complex to do but I have been let down in the Germantown area always think they all use sysco and believe it's good enough north Avenue grill makes it fresh and tasty. Just wish it was not a half hour away.
I love the environment, and my waitress was constantly checking on me.🥰 I had the Country Fried Steak and Coffee and loved, loved, loved it. The best in Milwaukee hands down. I also felt respected and was very comfortable sitting alone. The music was comforting and felt like I was back at home with my family growing up. Thanks for the Great Service and experience. I will be bringing my babies and spouse back for their food.👨👩👧👧
Pros: My food tasted amazing. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with fries and ranch. The chicken was well seasoned and actually tasted like chicken. My fries were really good. I also got the salted caramel cheesecake which was fantastic. Everything was decently priced and the service was fine.
Cons: My food was warm not hot like it had been sitting a while. And there were some very annoying gnats.
Update: I went again for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. It was a long wait, but well worth it. I got banana foster french toast which was so so good. Everyone in our party loved their food and great service. North Ave needs another, bigger location though! So we can all enjoy without waiting an hour in line.

I can’t even lie north Ave grill has best burger and fries I’ve ever tasted from any restaurant it’s well worth it,I had the peppercorn horsey burger super delicious I recommend north Ave grill and will be back thanks for great service and awesome food.
Went to breakfast this morning. Had an incredible experience. The food was great and the service outstanding! Told the servers that they treated this customer as though I was at a four/five star restaurant. Food served hot, coffee cup refilled as needed and all done w/ a desire to make sure I had a great experience. I'll be back!
This is arguably the best breakfast spot in Wauwatosa. It has a great classic diner feel with the counter inside and patio dining outside. I was able to try 2 different breakfast wraps: the wakey wakey eggs and bakey and Felix’s revenge. Both were amazing in their own unique way. Their bacon 🥓 is also amazing! I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Such a great place for breakfast! Went here for the first time with my buddy this morning. Got the classic breakfast - two eggs, sourdough toast, bacon, and their American fries aka a better version of hash browns. Hot, fresh, and so delicious! I will be back here for sure. Highly recommended!
