This place is incredible! The menu is sophisticated from drinks to food to after dinner. The regional focused seasonal menu changes approximately every 4 weeks I was told. The attention to detail for the chosen dishes was really impressive. The food was fantastic and I can’t say enough! This place is a true gem that should not be missed!

I went here for my fiancée's birthday. They do have excellent vegan options even though they aren't listed except for the salad. I was able to do the 4 course meal comple with vegan dishes. They have a wonderful vegetable spaghetti and bean risotto as well as a raspberry sorbet. It was nice to see that they put an allergy tag in my risotto so it didn't get mixed up with one that had dairy. Service is excellent as well. It is expensive but for special occasions that's okay.

I generally don't like Italian food, but this is my favorite restaurant in the area. They serve true Italian food, inspired by a different region of Italy each month. All four courses are great, but the standouts are the pastas, which are rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and any seafood based dishes, since the chef really seems to know how to treat seafood. And it's always a challenge to pick just one dessert. Wine list is extensive, cocktails and coffee are excellent too. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth.

Everything was okay. Atmosphere is classy, nice. The space is smaller but not cramped. Service fine. I did laugh when I asked how the antelope was and was told "its like a deer" which unfortunately was not a joke. Food good, but not particularly luxurious or special which I believe is what is expected. Probanly wouldn't return for this reason unless invited. We felt a little rushed (the bill was given to us with dessert). 10/10 for the mulled wine served with dinner though.

My wife and I ate there tonight, the food was good. The starter was nice and then the pasta dish came, it had a hair in it ! I let the waitress know and she have me the option to replace my dish with the same dish, unfortunately when my dish came out it was a different pasta dish to what I had ordered. She shouldn't have even offered me the wrong dish, she should have went back to the kitchen and had them make the original dish! And at the end when the check came they didn't deduct anything for the mistake? I am a chef myself and I would never allow that to happen in my kitchen.

This review is better late than never. My husband took me to Bartolotta's for my birthday and I have never been so disappointed. Two $65 prixe fix meals, with a Negroni neat, an iced tea, a wine flight and 3 truffle shavings cost almost $400!
The waiter stated the prixe fix dinners were just menu tastings and we should not expect to be full at the end of our meal. Really? Well, each course was less than a cup of not-very-good, tasteless food, and the polenta cake was dry and grainy.
I was beyond angry when I found out we were charged $19 for the Negroni!!!! This egregious overcharge may be indicative of someone's disdain for interracial couples. If so, no problem. There are plenty of other restaurants where we have dined for less than $300 with more people!
Whenever we are served sub-standard food and over-priced cocktails, we will do a Google review, tell all of friends and not EVER patronize such an establishment and allow ourselves to be duped again!

I have to give it to the Ristorante Bartolotta located in Wauwatosa Village. My friend and I had dinner there last night for New Year's Eve, and they followed the guidelines to a T. They took our temperature when we first walked in, and each table had plexiglass between them and every staff member there was wearing their face mask. We were told we had to keep our face mask on whenever one of their staff members approached us. They would not even come near our table until we had our face mask on. The tables were spaced apart appropriately. The staff was very professional, the food was exceptionally delicious, and the ambience was warm and festive. I would highly recommend this restaurant especially during this time because they are going above and beyond following the CDC guidelines. Kudos to RISTORANTE BARTOLOTTA!!

Ristorante Bartolotta is always delicious! Our most recent visit was on New Year’s Eve. When we arrived we were told it was a prix fixe menu. We were never notified even though we had made our reservation weeks in advance. I was very disappointed as I had had my heart set on a specific dish from their white truffle menu. My husband spoke with our waitress who then spoke with the chef and he was able to make me the dish I wanted in place of the pasta entree of the prix fixe menu. All of the food was delicious!

Snotty sever, food was way over priced for quality and portion. My hubby had the seafood and it was rubbery and overcooked. Daughters and I had the steak ordered between rare and medium, all cooked well done. For a $40 steak I expected it to be cooked the way it was requested. Overrated place that tries to be better than it is -we won't be back.

Went to Ristorante for our Anniversary dinner. Saturday, 6 PM reservation. We were seated promptly. Servers were very attentive. Dinner was very disappointing. We each had a salad first. My husband the field green salad, I had the Cesar Salad. We enjoyed the salads. But I did not realize that the dressing was so strong that when our pasta course came I could not taste anything but the salad.
Then the entree course. His was the chicken. Listed on the menu as half of a chicken. It was half of a half. Just a 1/2 breast with a wing portion on it. No leg, no thigh. He said it tasted good but was not enough. Good thing he had the salad and pasta first.
I ordered the Grilled Seafood. Totally awful. Very poorly executed. Not what I would expect from a Bartolotta restaurant. The piece of fish was totally over cooked, hard and dry. The octopus was like rubber bands, the shrimp overcooked, the scallops were raw in the middle and cold, no sear, squid was under cooked with cartilage inside, spinach was very bitter. I tried to eat some of it but just could not. I did not send it back. I don't like to do that because then you wait for another meal to be prepared while your dinner partner finishes their meal and waits for you. In hindsight I wish I would have sent it back. We paid for a meal that was inedible. This also put a damper on what we wanted to be a special dinner.
The restaurant was busy and very loud. Hard to have a conversation when the people at the next table were talking so loud.
Overall not a good experience. Very disappointed. We will not go back ever again

Dropped in on a Saturday night without reservations. We got a table quickly and enjoyed first class service and a wonderful meal! I had the grilled seafood and Jody had the roasted chicken. Both were wonderful! We would have liked less butter on her Brussels sprouts, but flavors and textures and presentation were all great ! The affogato was to die for! All in all, a very memorable dining experience! We'll be back soon !

Had the chef' prix fixe 4 course meal;main course was lamb chops. Each course was more fabulous than the previous. Outstanding meal and service. Highly recommend.

A favorite place to dine when I have friends or family in town. My husband & I love to celebrate special occasions here as well. Magnificent food, intimate atmosphere and superior service. They are always so accommodating with reservations, and working out things at last minute as well! Love this place..a gem!

Had a fabulous lunch today. Had the uovo and paccheri, both delicious. Have only seen each of these dishes once before, couldn't pass them up. Have always wondered how you get that egg yolk in there without overcooking. Appetizers and desserts were also delicious. First time I've had to use a spoon to eat my hot chocolate. Thanks for a memorable meal.

Food was great. I ordered the Spicy Lobster Spaghetti and my wife had salmon. The area in which this is located is beautiful. Only complaint is that I feel like the tables are on top of each other, place is kind of small. But the food made up for it! We will be back soon!!

My fiancé and I stopped here for dinner last Saturday to celebrate Valentines day early. We were both blown away at how exceptionally delicious the food was. The food, drinks, and service was outstanding.
