My friend and I arrived around 5:05pm before it got busy, we got our drinks within about 15min of ordering. It took another 30min for anyone to ask us if we were done or check on us. Lashanna was our server. Someone finished eating their food next to us from start to finish before we got someone to finally give us our check. Our drinks tasted great!

Love this place! Crack fries are aptly named. Blue Zombie served in a glass skull with flaming overproof rum. How cool is that? A blast for New Years or just about any occasion!

Fun atmosphere & a unique experience for Wauwatosa! Drinks were very good as well. Prices were typical/reasonable. It was a busy Friday night, but we didn’t have to wait long for a table.
Service was a little slow, the fries had too much salt on them, and no paper menu option (you’ll need to scan a QR code), which isn’t the most inclusive.

The waitress was very kind....however the food was terrible. There's no flavor! Literally none. I'm not even exaggerating. I can't speak on the drink quality because I don't drink alcohol but the food is not worth it. I didn't expect it to be authentic because I didn't see any Hawaiian people...However, for a restaurant of any sort the taste of the food in general was lacking! I would've been better off eating at a diner than here. Please don't go for the food. I'll save you the time and money. You can thank me later.
To be fair, the decorations were cute and again, the waitress was nice...but that's it. 👌🏾

I love this place and wish we could go here for dinner more often. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is fun. Best of all, the food is phenomenal! I love that all the items on the menu are gluten free; this is an important point for someone with coeliac disease.

They had me at their punny name. Then I went inside and was transported to a place where island time rules and the rum never runs out. By the end of my meal, the servers and bartenders felt like old friends. Don't miss this unique island pub fare and impressive drink menu! I know I will keep coming back!

If you are looking for "Heaven on a Plate" or a drink that will make you feel guilty of having dessert first, Wauwatiki is definitely the place to be! The service is second to none, and the ambience will make you forget that you are in Milwaukee and not on a beach. It's so nice to know that it's all gluten free and made from a totally scratch kitchen. The longer wait on the food is definitely worth it. The menu has a perfect balance of salty, sweet, texture, and melty goodness! It's definitely not a stop and go, it's a great place for date night, friends night, or a nice escape from the long work week. Give it a chance and they will NOT disappoint!

So yummy!! It was my first time at the Wauwatiki and let me tell you it was a great experience from the service, to the food, to the drinks. Delicious, quick, great deals, and all gluten free!! The staff was knowledgeable and so considerate when it came time to discuss dietary restrictions. The owner was even kind enough to introduce himself and ask how our meal was...when does that ever happen anymore! Totally a five star restaurant!! Cannot express just how impressed I was!

Had heard of it but hadn't been there before. Really nice place. I'm a rum guy, so it's actually a great place. Bartenders and staff were very friendly, and the fish fry and drinks were great. I'd recommend highly. You can tell the owners really care about their customers.

I started off my bachelorette party here last night and was not disappointed! I have celiac disease and we traveled from the suburbs of Chicago just to check this place out. When we arrived they were on a small wait but suggested waiting at the bar to start off with some drinks which was perfect! The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. The water of life seriously gave us life. When we were seated our server was Marcus (I think!) and he was AMAZING! So funny and very attentive. We ordered the nachos, frachos, and crack fries for appetizers and devoured every last bite within minutes. The entrees were just as delicious, two of us had the jerk chicken BLT which was delicious. One person had chicken wings which she said were definitely amongst the best wings she has ever had! The last two girls had the Hawaiian fried rice and the turkey burger which they both loved. The atmosphere was so cute and everything was celiac safe! Definitely want to go back, but better yet please open a Chicago location!! �

Every time I’ve come here, I’ve had phenomenal service and the food is ALWAYS great. My boyfriend and I love it here and love the drinks and rum! We were told they’d be adding rum flights to the menu. Even though they weren’t available the next time we came in, one of the owners picked out a few rums for us to try. Not only that but he came over to our table from behind the bar and walked us through them. We learned so much and were blown away by the service. Everyone needs to check out Wauwatiki because you won’t be disappointed. Cheers!

Such a cute place with awesome lighting and super friendly staff! I had the water of life coconut cocktail which was extremely refreshing and the only salad on the menu. They only need one because it's so delicious with blueberries, pineapple, strawberries, gets and a citrus dressing. I added salmon and it was cooked perfectly! Will definitely be back!
