Will definitely be coming back. Very nice comfortable atmosphere, quick and friendly service. Solid coffee. I got the Chorizo Omelette. Delicious. Other pics are the steak and pancetta hash and the corn beef hash. Pancakes are also solid. Just all around great brunch. Cant wait to come back and try more

Highlands Cafe is a great, quaint cafe on Vliet street near Wauwatosa. They have a coffee shop where you can grab a cup of coffee and baked goods as well a cafe with delicious food. We stopped by and grabbed breakfast and the food was delicious. We had the eggs Benedict and the breakfast Sammie and both were phenomenal. I’d highly recommend checking it out. Enjoy local!

I have been wanting to try out Highland Cafe for awhile now, and today I finally decided to stop in with my daughter after her doctors appointment. I am so glad we stopped in. The food that we ordered was amazing and I was very pleased with the service that we received here at Highland Cafe located on the corner of 60th and Vliet street in Milwaukee, Wi. My daughter and I both decided to try their strawberry crepes and their hazelnut latte. We also ordered a side of sausage patties to share. I think that I have now found our new go to cafe. We will most definitely be back. We look forward to trying other items on their menu as well. I would highly recommend checking this cafe out. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Fresh ingredients, friendly staff. Breakfast cocktails and coffee are delicious! Don’t miss the West Coast breakfast sandwich, or help yourself to the BEST café eggs Benedict you can find in the area!

Had missing advertised ingredients in our meals. My friend from out of town even noted that she felt skimped on the things that were there. When I asked for what was missing, I was told that I would need to be up-charged because it's expensive. I get it, but maybe update your menu then? I don't like to do reviews, but it was a super uncomfortable experience that made for a bad start to the day.

Not great. I ordered the chorizo hash. Wasn’t very flavorful. Made me feel sick. Also was unevenly heated making me think a microwave was used. Very pricey comparatively to other places that taste better. Not coming back. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy with egg whites. The egg whites were a tinge neon yellow. I don’t know what’s going on there. Waitress was very nice about complaints. Seeing some other reviews maybe the place is hit or miss depending on the chef/day.

Clean, well spaced out, mask contentious establishment with fantastic small bites. Great for small groups this Tosa gem is one to add to your list whether you're in town for a little bit, or a long while.

NOT what it once was when it opened. Food quality has declined. The tables tops need to be replaced. They feel sticky and gummy wet or dry. Whole place needs a good cleAning.ive close enough that we Used to be regulars.

I had Eggs Benedict. The ham was so thin....could hardly taste it. The lemony hollandaise sauce was lacking in taste too. Very little lemon. I was very disappointed. I usually love this breakfast but not here. Sorry.
