Review P. F. Changs - Wauwatosa

I love this place. I will literally drive 45 minutes away just to eat here for special occasions. Everything taste wonderful. My favorite ia the Spicy Changs Chicken and Chicken lettuce wraps. The sushi is Dynamite literally lol. My dessert was so yummy and fudgey warm chocolately delicious. Explosion of flavors only Heaven could produce in your mouth from the chocolate souffle and vanilla bean ice cream on top with raspberry sauce on the side. Our waitress Jackie was awesome. Very polite, friendly, and on point with everything. #1 favorite restaurant always and forever!

I went for dinner with my daughter on a Wednesday in the early evening and we had a very enjoyable experience. We felt welcome when we walked in and left with smiles. The dining area wasn't too crowded and the ambience was very relaxing. Our server was extremely personable, pleasant and accommodating. We placed our beverage order and as our server heard me trying to decide what, if any, drink to order, she suggested a drink choice that just happened to be pleasing to my specific taste palette. It's possible it was just a lucky guess, but I appreciated it either way. The food options were different than I am used to, as it is a Japanese cuisine. However, the menu offers a good variety of options for even the pickiest of eaters, like myself. We ordered an appetizer (fried green beans), and the sauce that comes with it is a tiny bit spicy for my taste, so I asked for a side of ranch dressing. Our server kindly replied that they "don't carry it" but that she would "suggest to her manager that they keep some on hand". I thought that was a thoughtful and helpful response. For my food order I had vegetable fried rice and vegetable spring rolls. My daughter ordered shrimp with brown rice and vegetable spring rolls. I was confused about the white crispy , noodles??? Ok I am still confused about what those were, or if those were even meant to be eaten. But in total we both enjoyed our meals. As we were leaving, our server stated in conversation, that she "really enjoyed working here" (at P.F. Chang's) and that it was mostly because she "really likes the people she works with" and that her co-workers are "like family"... There's nothing you can say that's more complimentary of a place, than that, if you ask me. Everything about our visit to P.F. Chang's exceeded both of our expectations. We are sure to return, hopefully sooner than later.

We had the pork Dumplings pan fried. We asked for hot Chilli oil and got a sweet chili sauce instead. I'm not sure if the server knew what hot Chilli oil tastes or looks like, we have been able to get it in the past. My wife had the pepper beef and had rather odd beef broth based sauce which had a weird taste. My wife really didn't care for it, unfortunately what she used to order has been removed from the menu and nothing else is appealing to her. I had the Kung Pow Chicken and loved it.

The salmon is worth the trip. I loved it, really. I wasn't sure about the food but the atmosphere really changes my mood and mind. Take some ok food, in a fancy place.. Does your brain trick you too? I have so so experiences. Some good, some bad, and some when I am starving and can't tell. All and all, It's a good choice rating 7/10

Food was good (I recommend the Singapore noodles) but we had to wait a very long time to get our food and never even got our cocktails...

The street noodles were excellent along with the lettuce wraps. I enjoyed my visit there. However, I did not like the egg plant. This doesn't mean that others won't love it.. Different taste for different people. It's just that I prefer my egg plant cooked a little differently. I highly recommend you try for yourself!

Fresh & tasty Chinese food, in a subdued, dining atmosphere. Easy to have a conversation with your family, friend or date. The Lettuce Wraps are a must-have appetizer. For entrees we had Mongolian Beef & Orange Chicken. Both recommended. GF options are available too.

It was pretty good. I had to send my steak back because it was over cooked. They took a very long time to cook a medium rare NY strip that was as flat as hangar, But hey they were super nice and made sure I got a dessert freebie. I think everyone eating here should be very polite and patient. They seem under staffed and trying their best, and that is all I ever ask for when I enter a restaurant. Great job! I will be back!

Nice chain of Chinese food. Whenever eating alone I choose there small plates. Veggie noodles and cauliflower are my fav and this time too ordered the same.

Enjoyable. Egg drop soup, beef and noodle salad, sesame chicken and chicken lettuce wraps were all done well. Sent the sesame chicken back to increase the spice and it returned quickly and spiced perfectly.
Twisted whiskey sour was fantastic.

THE P.F. Chang's experience. After reading the negative comments on this review site, It is apparent to me why the people that left them did. Ignorance at it's finest. The negative reviews on here come from a person that allows autism to be an excuse for their belligerent child, and another person cries about a napkin under the cup. My server bagged my food and filled my cup before it even was half empty. Then the atmosphere not being warm? It is very welcoming, and warm. Our server even lit a candle at the table. The service was and still is great, and the food is exceptional. Albeit the prices aren't the greatest, but the food is superb and worth it. (Not saying you're going to break the bank but it is above average) However, you leave knowing your money was well spent. I say disregard the negative Nancys' on here and give the place a shot.

On a much lighter note; Their fried calamari and dumplings are the bomb!

My fiance and I went to P.F. Chang's for his birthday dinner. There was a little bit of a wait, but nothing too extreme. Once seated, the service was extremely quick. I LOVE egg drop soup, but this was the absolute WORST egg drop soup I have ever had. My fiance's hot and sour soup was inedible. I'm not sure if this was just a mess up that day, but we will never attempt to eat their soup again. However, the chicken lettuce wraps were fantastic! Our entrees were good as well.

Not Autism Friendly. It is clear this restaurant does not understand the Americans with disabilities act. Both the customers and the employees of this establishment treated my family with the kind of callousness I thought we left in the 1800's. I am willing to put up with peoples inability to wrap their head around an autism diagnosis, as a parent I can barely understand what I'm dealing with. But to be accosted by the patrons with parenting skills comments and to be told by the employees that "They've had to move tables" and " Do you need boxes yet?" is needless to say completely un-called-for. It is a medical condition, it is as unique as fingerprints how it affects person to person, and I'm sorry it disturbed your lunch. We will not choose to be prisoners in our house because we have a disabled son, we are no different than any other family, than the fact our son is a very special and loved child. Please think before you just open your mouth. You certainly wouldn't treat someone in a wheelchair that way, but the fact you would treat anyone this way speaks to the character of the employees and customers, your parents would be proud.

Always a great time!. We recently went for a business lunch and was impressed to find a new menu focused on a greater selection of lunch options. The value and quality of the food could not be beat, no wonder why they are always so busy. We had two new dishes that they are now offering, the first was an Ahi Tuna Salad that tasted as good as it looked, and then a Carmel Mango Chicken which was unlike anything I've ever had. Everything was great, and my compliments to the Chef, we will be back for sure!

Awesome food, veggie wraps can't be beat. Great bar staff as well, we always have a great night out everytime we go.

Great food. I went in wondering how the food quality was going to justify the difference in price vs. a typical Chinese food joint. It was really surprising how good the food was. Definitely worth it.

The only downer - we were told by some waiter (not ours) that we would get a free sample of some drink so, he dropped off the glasses with ice and never came back. Kinda bizarre but, I would anticipate that being an isolated incident.

Good service, decent food, but not great. All of the dishes we ordered at the table had far too much sauce on them, as if they are trying to disguise a bad flavor in the dish. Although I'm sure there were plenty of other options on the menu without the heavy sauces. The sound was bouncing off the walls in the place and made it so loud, and the spotlights in the ceiling were shining in my eyes all night long. I probably won't be back, but it wasn't a terrible experience, just mediocre.

Great food. Lettuce wraps are the best! Also like the fried rice and lo mein made spicy.

Close to the worst service ever. Waitress didn't give her name. No napkin under my drink. Table wet. Never once asked to refill my drink. App and dinner came out at the same time. Place wasn't that busy. Won't be back.

Best service ever. Food was pretty phenomenal, service was as good as I've ever had. Called to inform the management how good the service was. Slightly overpriced due to atmosphere.

Great Value! Cant go wrong!. This is not the best restaurant that I have even been too. That said; I love this place! I spent $60 with tip for my girlfriend and I ordering the food PF Changs is known for. Lettuce wrap appetizer; She had the spicy chicken and I had the Mongolian Beef. Food was great. I took some home. Server was good. Atmosphere was great. You can't go wrong for the money. - JR

Terrible. Go to an authentic, family owned place for 10x better quality. Waiter quote "were like Burger King, Your way right away" ...we never got our drinks...

Mmmmmm. Like if good if your eating here most have lettuce wraps

One of my favorite chain Asian food places. Wok seared lamb with extra sause on the side is a must have. This place usually has a long wait so I would recommend calling ahead for reservations.
