The cashier was so rude. She had a horrible attitude with the cook and the older lady who finishes the sandwiches. The cook let her know I was waiting to place my order, she proceeded to ignore him 2 times and started to wipe the counter and then took my order. She was not friendly. Did not wash her hands or put gloves on to get my soda or prep and serve my fries. I feel bad for the workers who have to work in that toxic environment.

I love steak escape... Came about 2months ago to order my favorite double steak cheese steak and was welcomed with a poor attitude, poor customer service..... The cashier ignored the cook's when it came to my order and didn't even have glove's on when getting my cup let alone wash her hands... B4 i spend again, plz owner, I would like a free meal.

The attitude of the workers was not friendly, the food was subpar, and WAY too expensive. I spent $20 for two people, so you expect good food right? The burrito came unwrapped and looked like a little kid just stuffed random food into a tortilla then closed it up with tin foil. For the price I could've sat down and enjoyed a better meal. Definitely will never eat here again.

Food is good I go here every time, but don't get her often maybe 3 times in a 6 month period.. the only person I've found that dulls my steak escape experience more than once, is the employee Roxanne. She doesn't make welcoming conversation with the customers ever, and she doesn't leave a friendly impression. She should try to smile and act like she doesn't hate her job :) It's simple to ask how someone's day is, especially if the customer asked how yours was. . It could actually make a bad day a good one. She is only ever taking orders, I've never seen her on the grill or dropping a basket of fries.

The young lady (term used loosely) who made my cheese steak was not grateful to be employed, nor didn't care one bit about customer service. She had to make two orders, one for me, one for another guy, we bothe had the same thing. She combined the meat while cooking it, then should have split it equally, but chose the give the man of the same race 3/4 of the meat. She just staired at me, as if to dare me to say a word about it.
But because I knew she was itching for a confrontation, I kept my dissatisfaction to myself. Since Mayfair Mall has turned into an extension of the inner city I chose to pick my battles. In the last two days, my family spent over $400, but due to the change in environment and my choice to spend my money where I like. I will not spend one more dime there. This used to be a shopping destination, but no longer for me.
Good riddance Steak Escape (Charlies is better) & Mayfair Mall.

Terrible service at the Mayfair Mall, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin location. I stepped up to the counter to place an order. The only worker ignore me. Another couple stepped up, at which time the only worker declared that she was going on a bathroom break. I thought it was ridiculous that I couldn't order anything during dinner hour.

For a mall food court option, this place is definitely the best place to go. I have never once received an unsatisfactory meal from them, which is more than I can say for other food court eateries. I have only been dealt with kindness and quickness. They are a wonderful team and always provide excellent service. Definitely the place to eat at Mayfair Mall.
