We’re new to the area and were intrigued by some of the items on the menu and stopped for lunch on Christmas Eve. That turned out to be a very good decision. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the brunch menu was full of stuff I’d like to have ordered.
I ordered off the regular menu - a shrimp & chorizo burger with onion rings, and my wife ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich from the brunch menu. Both sandwiches were outstanding. The Monte Cristo was perfectly deep fried golden brown with just the right melty goodness. It was honestly so big, we could have split it and been fine. The shrimp & chorizo burger was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The chorizo patty was fried crispy, a little salty and had a little heat. It was topped with small, whole spiced shrimp and completed with a little cream cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. It was decadent, spicy and creamy all at once. The tempura battered onion rings were also perfectly cooked, but desperately in need of salt, which is best applied right out of the frier, as opposed to at the table.
The only, and I mean only, minor glitches were very slow food service (which I attribute to the holiday) and a too-cold draft coming from the front door. The restaurant would greatly benefit from a small vestibule at the door to keep the cold air from sweeping through the dining room every time someone enters or exits.
Overall, we were very happy to find really good food and friendly service in our new back yard!

My husband and I were passing through this town, and decided to eat dinner here. He had the Steak and potatoe salad with an orange balsamic vinagerette, he loved it!!! I had the Reuben Sandwich with Tots, delicious! We sampled a few of their micro-brewery items and the waitress we had was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

I want to say Thank you to the Heritage on Main Street . We had a 40th Anniversary celebration this past Sunday . They accommodated us so nicely. Very polite ,The food was excellent. The waitresses and waiters was so helpful and didn't miss a beat. Everyone loved it. Thank you for making it such an enjoyable event . I would recommend your restaurant and staff to anyone.
We stopped by while waiting to attend the chili festival very prompt service and then again for dinner. They were extremely busy but still very professional and prompt. Our steak was not quite right but they addressed it immediately and made it right. They made sure we were happy they insisted we take dessert on them. It was not a big deal. Very good food and wonderful service. I would definitely recommend to anyone�

Whenever I am at the Heritage for business I am always treated with the utmost respect and they go out of their way to insure that anything I ask of them is provided. It's very helpful to what I do professionally. (local entertainment promoter & videographer)
On a personal note, my wife & I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere, the great food, and of course the efficient and congenial staff.
We highly recommend you stop in anytime from 11am-Midnight daily. The lunches are as great as the dinners.

Great Beer, Great Food, Great Service. Arrived at the end of a long drive, luckily these guys made us very welcome and they serve until late!
I’ve been to heritage many times, I love their buffalo chicken nachos, but the last several times, the service was atrocious. I waited for over 25 minutes,this last visit,after being seated and never saw a server. No one even acknowledged my presence. It was not slammed or overly busy to warrant being ignored like such.

I went back and gave Heritage two more chances and each time, the service and food was amazing. They really stepped their game up and deserving of a new rating
One of the BEST restaurants we’ve found. Out for a late night meal on vacation & lucked into this place. Outstanding menu, amazing food, gorgeous building & decor, casually elegant atmosphere. The Ahi Tuna was prepared & presented perfectly & risotto was simply delicious. Couldn’t be more pleased!
I had a Philly Steak here that was so flavorful; loved every bite. Also tried the Gyro Pita which was delicious. Additionally, the side salad they serve is top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive. I'd highly recommend eating here anytime. Thanks Herritage!
My fiancé and I had an amazing time for our anniversary and Valentine’s Day date. The staff were lovely and the service was over the top ! I love this restaurant and will patronize again. I had my daughter’s first birthday here as well and I had no complaints. I thank all the lovely ladies for making our night special.
What a find in Waynesboro. Definitely worth the drive from Staunton. Great beer selection! Lots of specialty cocktails and a full menu with lots of nightly specials. On top of all that the music playing was outstanding and Matt the bar tender was a pleasure. I'll be back!
Our server Franklin was very attentive and did a fantastic job. Even though they were short staffed our food came out in a timely manner exactly how we wanted it. I highly recommend.
We absolutely loved it here. The humus, tzaki, pesto sampler was awesome. Great burgers as well. If we lived here, this would definitely be one of our “go to’s”. Highly recommend and will go back upon our next visit…we absolutely loved.
Total gem in the heart of waynesboro. Their vision is complete....the food and service are at the next level. Hannah provided top notch service from Hello, and recommended a great red wine.The food, as always, was so good. I had the Ribeye. It was perfectly cooked to order. My wife has the lamb over polenta...I think she had a religious moment. And our son got the lobster mac & cheese...he loved every bite.
Our dessert was made in house. We had the whiskey cake and cheesecake.
We had a couple of rough visits previously a few years back. Never an issue food, just the service level wasn't not quite there. But we always returned, because we knew it was great and even when the service wasn't stellar, it was obvious they cared and it was just a matter of time til they had it all perfect. That time has totally come, So happy with our meal, the service, and our experience. We are your newest frequent regulars.Thank you!
Nice bar/restaurant. Food is not the same as a regular bar one (with greasy food and fries). It is more tasty and elaborated though not being expensive for what it is, especially given the rather big quantities.
