Very good place to eat. Good food and friendly staff. Have been several times since I moved down here mid 2016 and will continue to be a repeat customer. Prices can be high from what I was used to back in Arkansas, but it's worth it.
Rudy's is a great place to come in enjoy a wonderful BBQ meal with family and friends (family style). You don't have to rush... Employees are always nice, friendly and respectful. This goes for the Managers as well. They are out there working with everyone. The community service they do is also great! Love this place... ♡♡
My kind of place, looked like a hole in the wall but the BBQ was spot on. We had turkey, brisket and pulled pork. The banana pudding was so good.
The brisket had the best flavor and tender and fell apart. It was amazing.
Everything is awesome. The brisket, sausage, pork ribs potatoe salad and chocolate pudding are my favorites from there. The workers are always friendlly. Have never had a bad experience when going there.

Have always enjoyed Rudy's Bar-B-Q when I visit the Houston or Austin areas. Not only is the food great, but the customer service is fantastic! Had an issue, left feedback online and was immediately contacted by the Area Director. I will continue to visit Rudy's whenever I'm in the area. The food is great and Rudy's is just a fun place to be.

I like Rudy’s and the old time country store style. It is well decorated inside and out, including some vintage fuel pumps (inoperable) out front. The bbq is all pretty good, particularly the moist brisket. The prices are a little steep, in my opinion, but it’s worth a try for sure. The smoked meat is sold by the pound, or by the links(smoked sausage).
Really excellent Texas-style bbq market. The servers were welcoming and since it was my first time they provided some samples for me to try. Really tender and d juicy brisket and chicken. I went with the brisket, pulled pork, and a jalapeño sausage with cream corn and the potato salad. I could not really taste a difference between the sauces but they tasted fine. Lots of relishes to try as well.
Exceptional food and friendly service! We were visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed! The food was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The turkey was moist and flavorful. My sister got a banana pudding that we were going to share but she had a bite and decided I needed to get my own. 😅 As a nurse, I was especially impressed with the large hand washing sinks lining the walls OUTSIDE of the bathrooms! We will definitely go back when we are in TX again!
Delicious food. Awesome vibe. Loved it. We got the brisket, and pork loin. Which I could have tried all the sides. I brought home brownies and Rice Krispies home as souvenirs for my kids and they kept well for several days.
Super good brisket! Eat it, just eat it and be happy! Ribs were 5/10. Turkey was 7/10. No complaints on anything! Chocolate pudding was special! Getting samples before was a nice treat!

This Rudy’s is convenient for someone visiting the Houston Space Center and then having some good Texas BBQ. We bought takeaway and had the moist brisket, pork spare ribs, baby back ribs, regular sausage, along with coleslaw and potato salad. My favorites were the moist brisket and sausage. You can taste the smoke in the briskets, but the ribs were a bit dry and not as smoky in flavor. The two side dishes were fine and as expected. Rudy’s is worth visiting, and you can’t go wrong with their consistency.
Came by yesterday and the meat was really good and tasty. You order your meats and grab whatever sides you want and the meal slaps. The diversity of drinks is great and the selection of meats is quality 👌. Although a little pricey, this is a great place to come eat at!
Yes it's amazing BBQ and even some family style seating. Cuts of all sorts served on trays with enough break to make sandwiches out of if you fancy. But! Have you had the breakfast tacos!?!? A definite must if you have not. Always a stop when I see one. Great food, nice people, never disappointed.
Food was and always amazing. And my cashier was just asking sweet and awesome as can be!! I will follow up with her name when I find the receipt. Make sure y'all keep her around, she's better then y'all's sweet ice tea. 😁
First time trying Texas BBQ and man it was really delicious. The staff were really kind and helpful with me. They even gave me samples since I didn't know what to get. I would definitely go back to Rudy's again for their Brisket & Ribs!
First time going and the sliced beef brisket is delicious. The flavor is good. The front ladies were not to welcoming but other than that I would recommend
Great experience. We were looking for a place to eat dinner, and decided to give Rudy's a try. Great BBQ and service. WELL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK. It's our new "to go place" for BBQ. Use to go to Joe's in Alvin, but they changed too much. So Joe's is out and Rudy's is in!!!

We are a church family from California that wanted to try some Texas BBQ and Rudy's did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in everyone was super friendly and helpful. Now for the food we tried just about everything from pulled pork, brisket, ribs, corn and potato salad and it all tasted amazing. If you are a local and have not tried this place you need to. We will stop again next time in Texas 👏
Omg delicious! Just like it should be! Meat was excellent, as was service and atmosphere. My favorite were pork loin and baby back ribs!
Small tip for owners/operators: corn on the cob tastes better if it is not sitting in hot water, as it gives off taste to the water.
