Best experience by far! Thanks to our wonderful waitress, Alyssa! It was our first time and she treated us like royalty. Suggestive sold and helped us pick the best meal and dessert! We will definitely be back!! We are now huge fans of Chuy’s thanks to her.

This is our go to place for Mexican food. The chips are always crispy and we always get the creamy jalapeno dip and mix it with the red salsa. On a diet get the tostada be dinner.

Chuys is a fun place for drinks and food for Happy hour and needles to say, I left that place and forgot my purse with money in it, but guess what, some honest and sincere person turned it in with everything in it, thank you Lord, and thank you to the one that turned it in.

Love the decorations in each of their dinning rooms the food was great and we were able to share our vegetarian enchilada. The Elvis Presley combo enchilada was really good if you can finished the 3 enchiladas, the crispy tacos and nachos 😀

Had a bad day, got home late, and really wanted nachos. Got here about 30 minutes before they closed and still got a table. Ordered the mixed panchos and no one made us feel rushed. We were treated very well and enjoyed the food.

Got the Elvis Presely Memorial dish and the Chuychanga for $13 each. I dont think they're charging enough for the Elvis; you won't get this much food anywhere else for $13!

This location is pretty good. I used to go quite a bit, I was happy to see things were mostly the same. I always recommend the Dinner Taco to add to your meal. The staff is friendly and attentive. The managers make sure you're happy before you leave, even if things might not have gone perfectly.

The restaurant reminds me of the 1990’s Romeo and Juliet movie combined with the Happy Days diner. Maybe it’s the colors or the interior design. I’m unsure. But it’s always a cool place to go. We were in an out of this place within forty five minutes. The food was pretty good, the fajitas is a decent portion compared to others. They load you up with sour cream and cheese which is awesome. Most restaurants try to nickel and dime you for the lack they give. The fajitas were chewy at Chuy’s (teehee) and had some flavor. Our server was a great server. I don’t throw that out often. Out of the hundreds of reviews, I have two other people I’ve complimented. He kept up with our drinks, made sure our food was good and pre-bussed our table.

The tres leches cake is 100% worth it! The slice is massive, and incredible! The Elvis enchilada plate was lovely, because it gave me the opportunity to try 3 of their sauces. The chicken burrito was also good, though I wish they would put some veggies inside! Overall, great food!

This is a good restaurant! The food taste good and the service is good. Everything is good. I have had better margaritas before, but if you were to get a margarita get the frozen strawberry swirl, it's the best they have. The facility was clean and the prices are manageable. I would recommend this place to my friends.

First time there and to be honest it was an hour and a half before closing. The staff was really nice and sat us. Ordered food, I had soft tacos and yummy. Anyway I didn't realize it was closing and asked for a sprite, not realizing it was almost closing time. The waitress with out hesitation goes and gets it. I ask when they close and she said "In 10 mins." I felt like hell. But no complaints from anyone on the staff about being late. Just because of that interaction, I will give this place my highest recommendation. I did tip well of course.

Such a great experience! Came in solo, sat at the bar because the place was super busy! The bartenders were so friendly! Food was terrific!

Chuy’s has consistently been our favorite Mexican place. The two salsas are great and the chips are my favorite. Pro tip add a sauce to your food (back of the menu.) My favorite is Tex Mex. The service is always fast here which lately is harder and harder to find. Highly recommend you try the location is right off the freeway.

Very good & unique selections. Great decor, friendly & clean. It’s nice to have an Austin original in the Houston area. I would LOVE if more Austin restaurants would open a branch in Houston since Austin has the BEST Mexican food in Texas. Although I didn’t order it on this occasion, my favorite Chuy’s dish is the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken!!

Updated: Saturday, 3/20/21 Service is still excellent...its been well over a year since our last visit. We dined outside and it was lovely, perfect weather...even when it got a little cool, they turned on the heat lamps to keep it pleasant. Kelly was our waitress with super attentive skills, kind and personable. Our food arrived at our table super-fast. Tip: Tacos Al Carbon (steak) looks to be cooked medium to medium-rare, if you like yours cooked with a little less pink/red meat, let your waitress know when ordering. Great food and excellent service...this was our second visit. We went again on a Saturday evening, there was a short wait (10-15 mins) but the food is worth it! We plan to go there again.

I had another great meal today at Chuy's. Cynthia is an excellent server: prompt but not pushy, present but not intrusive, and our drinks were kept topped off very well. The food was excellent (in particular, the pico de gallo served with the chips was outstanding). My only suggestion for improvement was to consider lowering the volume of the music. It made our conversation a little difficult. Overall, I recommend Chuy's anytime you're hankering some fresh Tex-Mex. Ask for Cynthia! 😊

My family loved all our meals. The portions were large enough to bring home left overs! Update: ate here again years later and we still love it!
