Always enjoy this place. They have the best refried beans in Webster, there I said it. Glad to be in the dining room again. The lobster quesadilla was really good, who doesn't love a Mexican flag entree or tres leches cake. I had a starfruit margarita, the pumpkin one was ok, keep innovating! Only downside was the mini-split that occasionally blowing cool air.

I liked the small and cozy atmosphere. The staff greeted us right away and we didn't have to wait long to sit. The rice was quite bland but nothing that hot sauce couldn't fix. Overall the food was okay and good!

I always have a great experience here! The seasonal lavender margarita was absolutely DIVINE! Very light and not overly perfume-y like I've had at other places.

The food was delicious! But the menu was a bit scarce. The delicious options we got we specials of the day so they might not always have them... The service was great but the atmosphere was a little awkward with no music playing like other restaurants. The chips and salsa were homemade and amazing. Would recommend the nachos but the burrito was mid. Please add a chimichanga to the menu and I'd be pleased 😋 the pricing was good, lower than other, less delicious restaurants. Overall would recommend

This has become our favorite Mexican restaurant. I rated the service as a three, but only due to them not having sufficient help. Unfortunately, this seems to be epidemic in every town now. Every entree we have tried over the years of dining here proved to be top notch and authentic. Never a bad meal! The food is served hot and always in sufficient quantities that most folks will not finish a serving. Take-out containers are available. A recent update has refreshed the interior of the eatery. The interior reflects Mexican culture.. it's refreshing and peaceful.

Tucked away on the first floor of a church-turned-market is Maria’s, which we happened upon on our journey around Rochester. It was worth the search and discovery! We had delicious chips and salsa and homemade guac to start - the latter freshly made and perfectly served. The house margaritas weren’t too sweet - a real homemade taste - and came rimmed with salt. The boy had a tasty pink lemonade. For dinner, the enchiladas were savory and filling - I had three of the five filings, and each hit the spot. The made to order bean and cheese mole entree dish was made especially for a vegetarian - our server had no problem substituting for vegetarian, and freely offered vegan options had we required them. The kid had a chicken taco he described as “the perfect taco,” and a side of rice and beans - though he filled up on the guac. The service was personable and attentive, and at times genuinely friendly. The place was full of satisfied regulars, and the tables were clean and felt bright in the natural light. We left quite full and also quite glad. One note: we parked out front by the street and enjoyed winding our way through the church, but clearly most folks park around back. It’s worth the trek!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Rochester. I went on a Saturday night at 6:30pm, only waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Ordered a classic margarita with salt, on point as always. For dinner, I ordered the enchiladas de mole which comes with chicken. Absolutely delicious! Service was good, very attentive even being so busy. Highly recommend if you've never been before, you're missing out!

Maria’s is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Webster/Rochester! The food is fresh and delicious. The margaritas are authentic, no sour mix here. They are always busy and don’t think they accept reservations. But it is worth the 15-20 min. wait!

Maria's serves up particularly good margaritas --we'll return for that reason alone! We also enjoyed their pork enchiladas with tomatillo sauce, rice, and beans. The chips served with salsa seemed stale, greasy, and hard, although the salsa was clearly fresh and tasty. Lines are long, but move fairly quickly. The space where customers wait for tables is small, tight, crowded, and chilly when the weather is cold, though waiting at the bar is a popular option. When a restaurant is as busy as Maria's, you know they're doing a lot of things well. It just seemed, at least on our Saturday evening visit, they were too busy to extend even a bit of friendliness. None of the employees were rude -- they were just all brisk business and no warmth. But those margaritas . . . I suppose that's all the warmth anyone needs!

Warm service, great, authentic foods. I ordered the special, a complicated dish I’d been wanting to make (Chile Rellenos Nogada) it was great! I can see why this is traditionally a holiday/special occasion dish.

Maybe this is what is meant by "hidden gem"? We passed it on the first try as I thought it was a church. Parking is in back. We were seated immediately and given tasty chips and salsa. We ordered blanco y blanco chicken enchiladas and also soft chicken tacos. Both were fantastic but I really enjoyed the enchilada sauce the best. The tacos had nice white meat chicken and were served with very good rice and beans. We treated ourselves to the flan for dessert and were not disappointed! So good! I have been dying to find a decent Mexican restaurant out here for 3 years. Finally I have found one we really enjoy. Great friendly staff as well!

I used to go here over 10 years ago and the food has not gone downhill one bit. They are absolutely fantastic and amazingly authentic. This is the best Mexican food I have had since I lived in Southern California. Enchiladas were amazing, the coconut papaya shrimp was out of this world delicious, I'm not sure if the flan or the Tres leches cake was better, but if you're debating between the two, I honestly suggest you just get them both. From memory, I had a lot of friends that loved their margaritas, though I'm not much of a drinker nor do I remember them from way back when (also didn't buy one)... That being said, I do mean it when I say my friends back then all said they had the best, margaritas I really doubt there's anything on this menu that would steer you wrong, my biggest set of advice is order what you like and add at least one new item you don't know each time you buy here. 90% chance you won't be disappointed (And treat yourself to desert, you deserve it)
