Koya Kitchen - Welches - Photo album

Whatever my expectations were, this place absolutely exceeded them. The food was amazing! We ordered an appetizer type plate from their specials board and 2 entrees, all of which were great. Inside we each ordered a different drink so we could try both, and both of them were of great quality. The pe
Immediately after opening the front door to Koya Kitchen, I was greeted with warmth... vibe, temperature, interior decor, and plants! Great oxygen-rich place! The sushi was well- prepared, both the udon and Phad Thai noodles dishes, divine. Absolutely, delicious. We will return, thank you.
We got takeout. Now, we are used to tonkotsu broth, and wasn’t expecting any spice to this. The meat was lean and tender, the noodles were a good texture. It just wasn’t what we were used to. Not to say bad though, at all. There was a bit of a snafu with the online ordering. It wasn’t ready whe
We had a great experience here. It's oregon, moreover, it's Welches. I'm not expecting to find authentic Japanese food here. But everything was really good. My partner has traveled/lived short term in Japan and he approved. We shared a few small plates and I grabbed a genmaicha tea from the bar. We
This place is SO MAGICAL, I highly recommend it. From the drinks, food, amazing atmosphere, mystical garden outdoor area and even a whimsical gift shop with a small indoor seating area. Can't go wrong unless you miss their open hours.
We were only in town for 2 days and drove by this place a couple of times. Finally decided to check it out on the last day and it was worth the trip ! We were in line with some frequent diners and they recommended a couple of dishes. Got some fried rice with tofu and potstickers. (The spicy sauc
I’ve been scouring this mountain for cute cafes with good food and drinks to hang out at. This place has it all. It has the best atmosphere by far, great employees, wifi, and cozy tables to work at if it’s not too busy. The attached food truck is also great! Their gift shop makes me want to redecora
We just did a 7 mile hike on the mountain and we’re ravenous and looking for something a little on the healthier side. I think I set my expectations a bit too high. The food was decent. It fueled us and I am grateful for that but the curry was a sadly small portion, but it did have complexity of spi
Absolute gem. Places like these are one of a kind. My partner and I were staying nearby in a hotel for our anniversary. We stopped in for a bite and got a little bit of everything. Get the sushi, get the sake flight at the bar inside, shop around while you wait…i bought my partner a cute little hand
I stopped in at Koya Kitchen a few weeks ago. They had just experienced a fire in their kitchen cart a few days prior. Although the kitchen is closed they have an adorable space with a gift shop. Can't wait for them to reopen. The menu looks great and the outside seating looks so cool!
Cool little place to hang out, have a quick drink and kick back in some sushi. Lively atmosphere. Nice little knick-knack shop will all kinds of fun stuff. Worth a visit for sure ....
Great food, decently authentic. The atmosphere and vibe were on point. Got the poke bowl, fried rice, green curry and musubi which were amazing. The Thai tea was not bad! Only complaint is having to wait more than an hour vs 40 minutes which is what we were told.
Fantastic place to chill and have some terrific Japanese-inspired cocktails. Sushi and Japanese street food is very good, too. Always a great place to bring the kids, as there is a large outdoor seating space for them to roam. One of the most unique spots on the Mountain.
Japanese food tastes ok. Love atmosphere, staffs and the drinks. I would come back again if we are nearby. One thing that I would recommend, idk what they can do. Customers across us was laying down and put feet up on the chair, pointing to my table. Kind of disturbing my moods.
Edit, 7/23. Sat outside this time 5 years later than my previous visit and still very relaxing. Like an oasis in the wilderness We all had excellent food, the service was great. Beer selection not huge but good choices. Had a great Japanese curry. Beer selection was v nice and service was spot on. T
Delicious!!! Great menu options and a neat atmosphere. Dog friendly too! We didn't have our pooch along by enjoyed petting the dog next to us. LOL! The food felt very authentic and fresh. Great drinks as well. Friendly staff.
Cute little spot off 26. Food was great - I didn't expect to find sushi while staying in a cabin nearby. Cocktails were fun and the fire pits were a nice touch for a whimsical evening.
