Had a new waitress and she was pretty sharp. Food was great. You got a lot of it. Garlic bread is on point. Ambiance is small old world Italian restaurant feel. Our waitress was so good for being new we gave her a 25% tip. I will be a regular for sure.
My go to for Chicago style pizza. Everything was great....staff, food, patio!! And the left over pizza was just as good tonight for dinner.
Everything was wonderful as they were packed when we arrived.
Volunteered to go outside since we had 12 in our party and out we went.
Our waitress was truly excellent as we had a big group and cousins from Minnesota to impress.
The food was first rate and the service better than first rate.
Been going here all my life and do not expect that to change.
Thank-you Capri for a great night out.
Logan was a great waiter. The pizza was really good. Long wait, but there were two huge parties having dinner. Can't wait until it's nice out and the patio is open.
I don’t want to give away our new “go to” Italian restaurant, but I will anyways. When you have great food and great staff you’re gonna succeed. We brought friends from out of town there last night and they thought the food was some of the best they’ve had, and I agree.
We’ll be back all year long!
I been going there well over 10 years , food is always excellent, nothing is ever not delicious. The staff is friendly and on top of things. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. I love the lasagna and garlic bread.
This was my first time here but won’t be my last! This place was amazing and our server was fantastic!!!! I can’t say enough great things about my first time here!
Great!!! Just the way I remember this place growing up. The garlic bread is hands down best in the city. Our server was good and attentive even being her first day. I'm pretty sure her name was Ruby. If it's not I apologize, yeastersay was her first day and she had short hair.
We just discovered this place within the past year and the few times we dined it has been delicious! Friendly staff, scrumptious garlic bread, delicious thin pizza and Italian salad. Yes it gets crowded, but that just shows what a good restaurant it is!
Have Been coming to this place when it was originally Capri! Lots has happen renovations wise, but the recipes are the same. Hard working owners brought this diamond in the rough into modern times. Always great service, and a hot enjoyable meal. Been recommending this place for over 40 years! Try the Lasagna, Ravioli, and many other delicious items. Garlic Bread to die for. Homemade Italian Fare at yesterday's prices! Try Capri di Nuovo, you will love them for the next 40+ years too!
We placed a to go order this past Saturday night and the whole experience was great. It was very busy and had a very large order for a large group. When we went to pick it up, it was all ready minus the cheese bread coming out of the oven. Even though it was very busy, They took the time to still show us every pizza to ensure it was correct. Everything we ordered was correct. All of the food was delicious! (And my son loved seeing the little tables in the pizza was an added bonus!) when we are back in town visiting family, we will have to order again!
Wow, the food was amazing.
We started with Pazzi Stix, they were the biggest, most delicious garlic mozzarella sticks we've ever had! My son had the Italian Beef Sandwich on a garlic bread loaf, so good. My wife had the Stuffed Chicken Alla Marsala, it was a large portion and so delicious! Oh, and the garlic bread was the best! We said it was better than another Italian restaurant in Milwaukee, known for their garlic bread!
The server was very friendly, always filling our drinks and the service was excellent!
We will be back!
Had the lasagna special. Ordered lasagna with mushrooms. In the past the mushrooms were free but this time there was a charge for them. The lasagna was hot and tasty. A buttered garlic bread was included. We asked for extra butter but it wasn't drenched in butter like in the years long ago. I have been coming here for 40 plus years. I'm so glad they have not changed their recipe despite new owners thru the years. We ate on the patio which I was so happy because of covid and also it was a beautiful evening. Our server was very polite and attentive. I was very pleased with our dining experience.
Very welcoming, wonderful smells of genuine Italian cooking. Lasagna Trio was delicious, as was Chicken Parmesan. Alex,at the bar and serving, was friendly and helpful. Plenty of leftovers to take home, and couldn't resist taking some Cannoli also.
We just ate here for the first time and will definitely be back. My family enjoyed the "Stallis" pizza with Pan crust, it was well worth the wait (although we all agreed it had *gasp* a little too much cheese - we'll try the Chicago crust next time). Mozzarella sticks were excellent and a generous portion for the price. They have half price desserts on Sunday so we all ordered cannoli - due to a plate shortage we received a "cannoli tower" which tasted as delicious as it looked. This is a small restaurant and it was very busy. We still received excellent service. Looking forward to trying some other menu items in the future.
Visited this place after my co-worker recommendation. Though, I am not a big Italian food lover, but my wife and son both loved their food. Both Lasagna and pasta dishes were really tasty. I ordered Cobb side salad with baked chicken and it was filling, enough for my dinner appetite. Five star service. Parking space is not enough for big weekend crowd, but can be ignored with this level of food and service.
What a great place!! We stopped in for appetizers and a beer, it was wonderful!! A classic neighborhood restaurant which charm and character, excellent service and great food!!
Can’t wait to try the pizza.
