We stopped in for lunch while driving through the area. It appears everyone had the same idea. The place was very crowded for a Saturday afternoon, however most of the orders were to go.
We ordered the Bacon Mac & Cheese and Pepper Jack'd Ham. Both sandwiches were excellent, however I prefer the Pepper Jack'd Ham, it was full of flavor and had an extra kick with the Jalapeno Peppers.
Even though it was crowded, we got our food very quickly. The meals were delicious and the price was reasonable for the quality of the food.
This is my first time going to Tom & Chee. I got a turkey pesto with sauteed onions. It's really good. The service was fast. The employee that took my order was patient with me. I didn't know what I wanted and I don't eat pork so it makes my meal choices hard sometimes. I took one bit of the sandwich and it was a instant hit for me. I will be back. It's good to try new things.
Staff members were great and patient. Food came out pretty fast, and the soup was hot!
I highly recommend the creamy tomato soup, it's my favorite. I also love their grilled cheese donuts. They are always a win. If you are still craving more after your meal, try the s'mores dessert. 10/10
I ordered half of a chicken bacon ranch and half west of Philly (slow-roasted beef, sautéed mushrooms and onions, peppers, mozzarella, and garlic aioli) and the garlic and cheese tots. The lady taking our order was super nice and helpful and let me know that I could pick two halves of different sandwiches. Both sandwiches were very good but the tots were too salty. All the staff were very friendly.
A delicious, gourmet take on the traditional comfort foods of mac 'n' cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches. I have yet to try any of the tomato soups. The mac 'n' cheese is a little peppery, which I think tastes great, but some might not care for that. The last time I was there I tried the West of Philly grilled cheese sandwich and it was 👌. Definitely recommend!
Store was kept very clean which is super nice to see in a food establishment. The food was delicious. Grilled cheese and tomato soup to the next level for sure with different options for different tastes. The soup is hearty and tasty and pairs super good with the Grilled Cheese. And if your getting dessert your gonna have to get the Grilled cheese doughnut. Would think it's overly thick with sugar but is honestly pretty well balanced for all the sweets involved. Would highly recommend.
Great food! The tomato soup had such a Greta texture! The sandwiches and donut were great. Just wish they dint turn soggy on delivery, guess it's inevitable though! 😅 Could add a little more cheese to the sandwiches and donuts.
I have been to this location often before this visit and always enjoy the food. The dining room is soooo small, miss the bigger one. I can't believe that they no longer have rye bread. The loaded potato soup tasted amazing, but it had more bacon in it than potatoes. Tried the tater tots too, wow, delicious! My sandwich was grilled to perfection. I will definitely always go back.
I have been to two of the franchises and had a well above average average meal, for what is considered “fast food”. It was clean, the food was served promptly, the sandwiches were hot, melty, and crispy from the griddle. The mixture of flavors in the sandwiches really blend well together. My wife adored the the fried donuts for dessert. The only draw backs were that it is kind of self service, orders are taken at the counter, and that it’s a kinda pricey... I’ll still go back, just not as often.
I bought the Mac and cheese sandwich with a cup of tomato soup and drink for 13.94 before tax. The second picture is s’mores sandwich which was 5.95. I know at this point, you are thinking “ that’s kinda high” but trust me, it wasn’t just any grilled cheese. It was like the god of the grilled cheese family himself and making these. I loved everything from the restaurant vibe to the drink choices. I am not sure what I was expecting from putting Mac and cheese on a grilled cheese but this sandwich was amazing. I plan to come back next time I visit the aquarium to try another sandwich. I totally recommend this place if you want good food for a overall good price. I can’t not praise this place enough , the cashier was very sweet and patient cause I couldn’t decide what I wanted and offer suggestion. I tell anyone who will listen about this place, so if you thinking I remember someone telling me about this place but who ? It was me!!!!!
Food was fine, though my soup managed to burn me because it was roughly the temperature of the sun. My only real complaint is the freaking spoon I am expected to use for the soup. It is not made for my mouth, nor any adult mouth, maybe any mouth at all. A better spoon would make for a better dining experience, at least for me. It isn't a deal breaker, we'll still visit, after all, I haven't stayed married for 41.5 years by telling my wife, "no, we're not going to Tom & Chee".
Omg! It was my first time here so I was scared to get anything too complicated but omg!! Our grilled cheeses were amazing!! The best I’ve ever had. The tomato soup complimented them well but the Mac and cheese tasted powdery. The place is big, beautiful and well kept. Price point is good for what you get. We will be back!!
I had the west Philly and garlic cheese tots. It was amazing. My new favorite when I come back to town! The only thing I wish was a selection on the web order was Swiss cheese or white American cheese then the Philly would be perfect

Perfect spot for grilled cheese and tomato soup. They have several different variations or you can create your own. Be sure to try the Donut grilled cheese!
The staff are fabulous and the food is fantastic! I’ve been to this restaurant 2x’s and it’s a clean, welcoming environment. You can’t beat the pick 2.

I went to Tom and Chee for the first time a few years back after coming across their business while rolling down the road. I was so greatly impressed, so, I have to look into the company a little more. I was shocked to find out that this was a company that was once featured on the TV show Shark Tank! I have tried a number of things from their large menu and I have to say that each time I have been greatly impress! Make sure to try their S'mores donut!
The customer service here is always awesome! The wait time was short and the food was prepared freah. I look forward to visiting again when I'm in the Cincinnati area.
