Fantastic burgers. My husband and I are from texas, and we travel all over the states. This is one of the best burgers we've had. The staff was extremely friendly, especially patty. Their Hamburgers were made with fresh, never frozen ground beef and was hot and delicious. Their fries were hot to the touch. Their ice tea is phenomenal. I can not recommend this highly enough. A definite must go to.❤️❤️❤️❤️

First time here at Wayback Burgers. I asked what I should get and they suggested the Cheesy. Picture a grilled cheese meets a burger, it was delicious! I also got the Cajun tater tots which were also yummy. Will be going back to try some more food. A+ service as well.

Googled ‘best burger nearby’ while the family and I were at Kings Island and found this gem. The chicken BLT was excellent. The classic and big easy burgers were on point as well. Onion rings and fries were great as well. We will visit again on our next visit from Kentucky.

Place is kind of small and kind of loud since the food and shakes are made right there. Burgers were fantastic though. Oreo shake was also very yummy.

This place kinda reminds me of 5 guys, with more options, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with tater tots. The food was pretty good and I liked their sauce variety. The service can be enhanced, for my first time I would give the service alone a 2/5, but the food a 4/5.

Visiting from out of state and stopped by here for lunch. The employees were extra friendly and awesome! Place was clean, and we liked the food options. Even though at a burger place, the chicken blt caught my eye. It was delicious! The chips were also tasty and something different from fries. Would try again for sure!

I had the chili cheese dog&fries, which was good. My husband had a burger &fries, which was good as well. A whole tray of fries is way too many (being this was our first time here, we may have ordered it that way without realizing it) The cook came to our table to confirm what was supposed to be on the burger while the burger was cooking 🙂 Better to have that than to get the wrong stuff on it. Overall, it was a good experience. I would visit again.

Never been to this place before so we decided to show up and we're greeted by a friendly lady named Patti who took our order and made our food as well. She was very nice and made our trip here that much more enjoyable. Great place for sure 😊

The cheesy burger was top tier and is probably my absolute favorite. They have a vegetarian option for it as well. I do wish there where some dairy free options, if there were I didn’t see but that would have been cool!

I'm from dayton and was in the area I ordered the big easy, fried pickles and chili cheese fries along with a Carmel campfire shake everything was amazing burger was good the Cajun sauce was awesome. The chili for the fries was really good and the shake had that smokey campfire flavor. I'd defintely recommend if your in the area

Great food, nice workers, my only problem is I think over $4 for a large pop or tea is pretty high, when some of your larger fancier restaurants are not charging this much.

Went here with my wife and children. Food was great with not much time for it to come out. There's our first time there and the staff was friendly helped us by telling us what was on the different sandwiches. We asked for water and the cashier offered free juice for the kids. It's fresh food so it does take a little bit of time but it's worth it.

Will not come back. 30 minutes to get food. people talking on cell phones at the grill, and employees arguing loud enough to here. other people got their food before us that got here after us. the woman running the place was talking about how we didn't need our sides out now and we don't know how to order. haven't taken a bite yet so dont know how the food is.

We got the party melt and double bacon with the chips. REALLY good. I'll admit, I was a skeptic. But this place was a really nice surprise!!! We'll be back for sure. (Oh, and try the lemonade!! Delish!) Employees were super nice. Was refreshing. It is pricy $17 for all this but if the service is always this nice it's worth it with all the testy workers out there anymore.

My wife, our 2 year old, and baby we're just here. We love burger spots and was really excited to try this one. The food was decent. I had a triple and she had a mushroom and swiss. The reason for the low review is the staff. I had to repeat and yell everything to the guy taking our order. Then, while we were eating a female staff member started talking about another staff member and dropping a bunch of F-bombs. It was loud enough that my 2 year old repeated it. Highly unprofessional and I will not go back

Went here because I seen it on Facebook. Needless to say I should have went to five guys. Just not up to par with other burger places. The employees were all eating at a table when we came in and stood around talking to other customers the whole time... Place was small and tables were dirty. Seemed the kids working had no manager to supervise or the manager was one of the ones trying to talk customers into franchising a way back burger. Unprofessional.

I discovered this restaurant from a picture floating through my fb newsfeed of a ridiculously cheesy, messy hamburger. I wanted one of those! I looked it up and found out that a new location had just opened a few months ago down the street from where i work. It was me and my family's first time having Wayback Burgers. I placed 4 online orders for pick up when i got off work. Keep in mind, this was a $50+ order. When i arrived, the place was clean but empty, staff was loitering behind the counter nose stuck in their cell phones while one cook was maintenancing the grill. I greeted the cashier and said i was picking up an online order. He seemed confused and claimed they hadn't recieve any online orders. I handed him my order confirmation that i had printed and the cashier clowned around, shouting "daymn! this is a $50 order yall!" Then continued to explain that their ipad wasnt turned on so thats why they didnt recieve my order. The manager came over and apologized, the staff started my order right away and said she would comp any item on the menu for the inconvenience. It was a little inconveniencing but atleast my food would be fresh and my milkshakes would still be thick. As the same cashier rang out my order, he had asked if i had a daughter cause i reminded him of someone. I laughed then told him "No. I wouldnt have a daughter your age. Im probably not much older than you." He then asks how old i was- which wasn't very courteous [on top of him clowning around at the begining of my visit] I hesistantly said "26." And with a smart ass gesture said he was 18. I continued to pay, he handed me my food and i said "Oh, I had 2 milk shakes too." And just the way the cashier huffed and sloppily mixed up my milkshakes while throwin dirty glances at me really sent my opinion of the establishment down hill. He tossed the milkshakes on the counter, ice cream dripping down the sides and i didnt even get a "Have a nice day" as i walked out. I also walked out missing a burger, an order of fries and the comp'ed burger the manager said id get for the online mishap. Service sucked, the one employee is a young goof ball and on top of it all, the burgers look NOTHING like the pictures they post. Sure all the ingredients were fresh and the bacon was thick cut, but everything between the buns was so chinsy nothing hung out of the outer layer of the buns, not even the burger meat itself. This place is NOT worth the $5-$7 priced burgers. I wont be going again nor recommending it.

This place is a joke and so is their online ordering system! They don't have everything listed on the corporate site menu and rather than phoning to let me know, I was charged for a Stubborn Soda that they no longer carry. Our hamburgers were not correctly made to order and what we did receive looked like something you would find in the hot food warmer at a service station. We went back and had to wait 30 minutes for the manager. He would not issue a refund because I didn't at least try the food! We have to call the corporate office to get the refund. Our first visit there and this is the customer service that we get... smh. I told him to look for a negative review on the Facebook page... Hey there! :) HaHa

Menu shows cheesey burger for $6.99. It’s a double. I asked for a single. He said it is a single. I asked so your picture on the menus shows a double but it’s actually a single for the same price? He said yes. I asked for pickle and tomatoe and grilled onions. I got one green tomatoe, one pickle and no grilled onions. Dining room was dirty and tables all shuffled and chairs not with tables. Wish I could post a pic of my nasty tomatoe. We won’t be back.

The smell as soon as you walk in made me want to eat everything on the menu!! You've gotta try the Double Bacon, Philly cheesesteak, Cheeeesy burger �. EVERYTHING. Don't get me started on the � and onion rings! Definitely will be back. Outstanding customer service also.

Edit: This was 5 stars but the quality has dropped so much the last couple of times we've stopped in that I'm changing it until proven otherwise. Long waits and poor service. Poor food quality. It's a shame. Used to be 5 stars. Previous review: 5 stars. Awesome burgers. What are you waiting for?

It took 15 minutes to get our food. During that time we watched all 3 workers stand around and stare back at us while our food sat next to the grill getting cold. To top it off, the cook coughed on our food right before placing it in our trays. The food was alright but could have been better if it was hot. No excuses as there was only 1 other order in front of us. First and last time we will be here.
