Grew up In lil village/Pilsen area, this is one of my top 3 favorite places to get authentic Mexican food. Family owned, this restaurant offers the most hospitality possible and the abuelita whips up every dish with love. 10/10 highly recommend
Had a moment to grab a few pastor tacos here while passing through. They were absolutely delicious! If I ever find my way back through I will stop in again. Highly recommended!
Was referred by some friends to check out this spot and it was definitely a gem. Great little patio out back. On my way there I discussed what makes a Spanish restaurant on point, I tend to get Burritos often so it starts there.
1. Burrito can't be floppy and fall apart while eating.
2. Clean, this is a rarity I mean not crazy greasey while eating.
3. Crispy finish after folded often theyll kind of toast the outside on the top and bottom of burritos.
La Cocina checked every requirement. On top of that Margaritas came in huge mugs and we're full of flavor and not overly sugary found often elsewhere. Don't forget the Flan it was fresh and delicious. This is one of the top Spanish restaurants in the area make sure to see it!
I've been a longtime vegetarian, had the vegetarian Huarache and it was great! Very cozy place, will be coming back. Highly recomended.
First time here. Everything is expertly homemade. The bread for the torta al pastor melted in my mouth. Charming little space. The tres leche looks amazing. I will definitely go out of my way to visit this place again
I wish I could give more than 5!! This place had food that was from a different region, so it isn't your typical Mexican food. I've seen some reviews about it being "wrong", but everything had such an amazing taste. The quality reminded me of a home cooked meal, which is rather hard to come by. The picture I attached was my meal, and it was so tasty. I also had the lemon water with chia seeds, which was interesting a different but very good. Definitely going back!
The food was very good. I like the Alambre a lot . I ordered it with Conchita Pibil. Next time I will be trying one of the Tortas!
Omg! Food was amazing. I had the jumbo tortas and they were huge and delish. All ingredients were fresh. My lil 1 who is 3 had there hamburger with fries and that wasnt no frozen patty it was freshly made also. Will be stopping there every time we are in the area for sure.

We love them and continue to go back for food that is flavorful, not greasy or heavy but filling and generously portioned. the restaurant is small but cute and I have heard there is a little patio outback. The owners are very sweet, down to earth. The owner is a professionally trained chef from what I remember and we had the pleasure of having some great talks with them several times when they catered our wedding reception (their food was a GREAT hit with our guests who LOVED the dessert buffet). I love supporting small businesses when you can taste the passion the owners have for the food they prepare. LOVE IT, GO GET YOU SOME!
The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. The presentation of the food was perfection. I didn’t like neither their horchata nor champurrado, but their spectacular service and food is 100% worth coming back.
I did pick up for the birria ramen and the pozole. Both were just delicious!

Delicious authentic Mexican in a tiny setting. There's only about 4 or 5 tables crammed into this hole-in-the-wall, so expect to be sitting cosied up to the next table. If that doesn't bother you, this is definitely a place to try. I ordered tostada's with steak and they were piled high with delicious toppings. The service is fast and very friendly and there's plenty of nearby parking
