This is the best gelato place in California. There gelato is wonderful and the service is great.

Authentic Italian pastries!! I came upon this place on a fluke trying out the neighboring Dog Haus location with my girl and her kids and they hit the spot for all of us especially my picky ass tongue I highly recommend this family owned and operated establishment!

I just returned from Italy and a great friend told me to check this place out...so glad I did! I felt like I was right back in Italy. Beautiful and delicious gelato along with other desserts, lattes and my first affogato! Dangerously close to my house so I've made a latte run 3 times already this week 🤣 I like to sit inside and enjoy my latte while listening to the Italian radio station they have playing there 😍 very friendly service

I found my new favorite Gelato place and new favorite flavor. Their pineapple Gelato is so delicious. I bought 1 pound, with 3 flavors. All of them were very good. Definitely going back for different flavors and their Afogato.

After having lived in Italy for 2 years, it was hard to find anything close to the gelato I had in Italy around my home town. I found this place shortly after coming back, and I have to honestly say it is the best gelato around. I can't even find better gelato in LA or OC.
Il Gusto is Italian owned (not Italian-American), authentic, and the closest thing you'll get to a gelato experience if you haven't been to Italy. I was actually able to have a conversation in Italian with one of the workers, who was from Palermo. The employees are always very nice and welcoming, and their desserts taste great – everything from gelati to cannoli. The perfect amount of sweetness every time I come. My favorite flavors are nocciola (hazelnut) and stracciatela (basically chocolate chip). On a hot day, the fruity flavors are the way to go. Make sure you buy a pint to take home, you won't regret it!
