We had cake from here for our wedding in Omaha and it was by far the best cake we've ever had! We've tried other places here in Omaha and NONE come even CLOSE!!! My mouth is watering just remembering this cake. Definitely does not disappoint!!

We ordered our wedding cake from Vicente 12 yrs. ago. We had so many compliments on our cake! We wrapped and froze our topper cake and had it for our 1 yr. anniversary. I'm not kidding...it still tasted moist and amazing!

I showed Vicente a picture of the cake I wanted for my wedding, and not only did he make my dream cake and make it look identical, but it tasted AMAZING!!! I got lots of compliments. He is very reasonably priced and he is good friends with my wedding planner and worked with my florist so well, I didn't have to stress about anything! 100% recommend!
Vincent, the cake was beautiful and we had no leftovers because our guests devoured the cake!! We got tons of compliments and several people said it was the best cake they have ever eaten. One of our guests posted a facebook status, "shout out for getting the best wedding cake i have ever had the pleasure of eating, we inhaled it like we hadn't eaten for 3 days!!"

Let Them Eat Cake is my go-to bakery for all special occasions and as a wedding coordinator, I have sent MANY brides to this shop. Each time is an incredible experience. Beautiful and delicious cakes. My personal favorite is the pink champagne cake. I am really confused by the negative reviews because I think Vincente is very talented, he honestly makes the best cakes in the DSM area. Also he is very accommodating to all requests I have ever made. I 10/10 recommend this bakery as a person and event professional. Make sure you get in early, he fills up fast.

Absolutely the best icing and moist cake that I have ever eaten!!!!!!. You have to try the 1 serving cakes in the case that he makes daily. Prices are the best I found in all of Des Moines. You can walk in anytime from 9 to 5 in the evening and pick from the display case a personal size cakes every day except for Sunday I highly recommend trying it is located in historic Valley Junction
We were beyond thrilled with out gorgeous cake! We did chocolate mocha and coconut and both were big crowd pleasers! All I had to do was show the talented baker a picture of something I liked and he created something even better!
