I went for dinner on a Monday night. Met up with a friend and we were warmly greeted and seated right away. I am currently doing a nutrition challenge so couldn't eat a lot of the food on the menu. The hostess came over and said no worries. The kitchen staff suprisingly catered to me and what I could eat. The food was amazing and the overall staff was genuinely very welcoming. I know that will not be my last time as I've already booked my calendar for my next visit. Definitely two thumbs up!
My family has eaten here several times and the food has been exquisite each time. Terrific place for families (really great kids menu and super accommodating staff). Food quality is superb and very authentic. Great addition to the area and I look forward to many more trips here in the future...lots still left on the menu to try!
The decor of the restaurant was beautiful. The staff was friendly, attentive and always had a smile. The whole staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to my mother and had her wear a sombrero while they sang. I cannot say enough about the food it was delicious, reasonably priced for the size of the portions. Definitely worth the drive from Uncasville to West Hartford, will be going back.
Ocho Cafe has to be the best mexican joint I have ever eaten at, even though everything on the menu and what my family orders looks amazing; I can't help it, I have to get my Marco Polo tacos once a week! thank you Ocho Cafe!!!
Came in tonight for too try it out! Let me tell you, this place will absolutely make it! The hostesses greeted us with energy and smiles, and our waiter....... The best waiter I have ever had in my life! That is no lie! The manager is phenomenal, going around to each table! You very rarely see that! Mucho gracias! Will absolutely be coming back..... Often!

Delicious fresh, food, amazing staff and a fun atmosphere! We are regulars! Salsa bar and tortilla soup is by far the best I’ve ever had!

Great Mexican restaurant!! I went on a busy Friday night, still had great service, and our waitress Pamela was always smiling despite how busy it was.I loved the table side guacamole and the free salsa bar � The enchiladas with the Cilantro Chardonnay pecan sauce were outstanding and make the 40 minute drive to this restaurant worth the while for me!
