We got there a few minutes early, and ordered a couple of drinks at the bar. The bartender was friendly, and the drinks (Mukashi and Mikko cocktails) were amazing! I would go there again just for the cocktails. We got seated, and ordered the Kaiseki menu, and the 6-course menu tasted great. Every course, from the first course of 3 crudo appetizers to the last course (dessert) was awesome! The ambiance was great as well for an intimate dinner.

Truly an incredible experience. Matt our server took really good care of us and out together his personal favorite selections off the menu to help my GF and I celebrate our 4th anniversary. The bartender came over and talked to us about some of their whiskey selections as my GF and I are big Japanese whiskey fans. Yosuke the manager also put together an incredible sake menu and the flight we had was amazing. Favorite dish of the night had to be the kampachi with sesame dressing. We will most definitely be back.

Enjoyed New Year’s dinner at Chateau Hanare. The food was great. The service was noteworthy. Our waiter did a great job of suggesting tasty menu items. They were packed beyond capacity but he never faltered.

Our favorite place in LA is of course run by the same people from En Brasserie, one of our favorite go-to spots in NYC. Reminds us of places we used to frequent when we lived in Tokyo. You are entering another world once you step through the noren here.

A true Japanese cousine gem. The atmosphere is very calm, nicely dimmed lights, very professional service, private rooms for a big party and an amazing outside patio. Food experience is above and beyond. Something new and refreshing, yet classy and delicious. Take your senses on a journey ✨ Usually disappointed by dessert, Chateau Hanare delivered! The buckwheat creme brule was exceptional, and teas tasted just like in Japan! Even udon 🍜, such a basic dish, was crafted from grounds up. That broth and noodles just 🤩 Will definitely bring my friends here again and recommend to people who enjoy truly good food 🌟🌟🌟
