This place is our family favorite. We love it and we come here at least once a month. The butter chicken is the best I've had. Nowhere else can compare. Their cheese naan is to die for. Their service is amazing and they do everything they can to accommodate. If you are ever looking for good Indian food in the Salt Lake Valley, this is your place!
The best place to to for Indian Food no doubt at all, the workers are very kind and attentive. Fully recommend if you have or have not had Indian food before.
Always great tasting food. Never disappointed. Whether you are a vegetarian or you eat non vegetarian food, you will have plenty of options. Their daal makhani and Matar paneer is best in town. Butter chicken and Amritsari Fish Fry are a few of our family favorites.
It was some of the best food I've eaten in a long time. Believe me when I say that we've eaten at practically every restaurant in every shopping area in Salt Lake County and this was fresh, homemade, and the service was impeccable.
We live a two hour drive away and come into SLC to shop for things we don't have at home, so when we eat out we usually don't take our leftovers with us. This time we did. It was that good.
It may be a while between visits, but we will be back.
This is definitely the best Indian food around. We've been coming here since it opened in 2013 and it's been consistently amazing, both the food and the service. We highly recommend it.
Great place! Truly aunthentic and prices are very reasonable. Food was brought fast too. The ambiance was great, lively music and very traditional decor. We will be coming back often!
Fantastic food. We had chicken Tikka Masala & Lamb Saag plus aloo gobi. Great portions, very tasty and welcoming staff. Will definately go back. Beats going to bland run of the mill chain restaurants in the surrounding area. We eat curry regularily and this place is the real deal. Definately will be back.
Incredible food, even more incredible service. I highly recommend it. And save room for dessert, their ice cream is like nothing you've ever had before.
Amazing customer service, these people are so friendly and accommodating. They always and check up on us and how our experience is. Once we had our naan burned and they replaced it for free. Just goes to show that they truly care about their customers and now I'm a forever an Indian food lover. ���
It was an amazing experience! The staff was friendly, the place was clean and uncluttered. I loved how the décor wasn't too over the top. The food was fantastic. We got the buffet which allowed us to try new dishes I hadn't tried before, helping me decide which new things I'd love to go back for. The naan was tasty and the rice pudding is definitely something I'd order!
This is the best Indian food in town! I love ethnic food and have triedery other Indian restaurant in the Salt Lake area that I have come across. Not only is the food outstanding but the staff is always frender and helpful.

Food was amazing, we had the vegetable masala, coconut korma, and lamb bunna. We shared it among 5 people and the combination was fantastic. Not only that, the service was exceptional. They took time to visit with us about the dishes and were very attentive to our every need. We will definitely be back!
This is my favorite restaurant. I would especially recommend the Chicken Coconut Korma and the Chicken Saag. The Naan is also excellent. Good service an nice atmosphere.

Best Indian Restaurant ever I been too. Staff was Very Friendly, Gentleman was Awesome he helped us to choose what's best to eat. Chicken Korma was delicious, Naan bread was really fresh and soft not like others I will definitely recommend this Restaurant .

Food is barely okay. Hey guys lets go here! They won "Best Indian in Utah"! Don't always be deceived. Even though they may have had lots of awards their food is only exeptional. The Naan was buttery (probably half a stick of butter) but very delicious. The Chicken Tandorri... well thats different. It is ok mild but not hot. It burns and does not taste good. This is an ok joint.
Food was great, portions were a good size. Taste of India has great selection of unique cocktail and liquor.
Easily our favorite. We live downtown and easily pass 10 other Indian restaurants to get to Taste of India every Saturday. The pakoras and samosas are amazing. The vegetable Korma is creamy and delicious, and the vegetable masala is to die for. The garlic naan has the perfect amount of flavor, and is even delicious when you heat it up the next day. Taste of India is the only place that can get the degree of spice right on for us....hot enough to be hot, but without hurting the other flavors.
The lunch special during the week is such an incredible bargain, I wish I still worked close enough to take advantage of it.
The prices are fair, the service is phenomenal, and the food is fabulous.
Middle of the road. Taste of India is certain not the best in town, but they are not the worst either. Their food is very middle of the road on taste. All of their dishes overly one-dimensional as they seem to be catering to the generic palate of the masses. A big issue I have is that their Coconut Korma is served much too savory for my taste. It's tastes a lot like a Butter chicken dish, with very little coconut flavor. Their Tikka Masala is a probably their best entree. Naan breads are thick and doughy here, which is filling but not that authentic. Pakoras are underseasoned. I was expecting more from the food. I can name a half dozen Indian food places in the valley that easily outshine Taste of India on flavor alone.
But service here is outstanding. Some of the best service around. They make a real effort to make sure the customer is satisfied and happy.
Overall, it's barely a like from me. Their food needs more flavor.
The host was very accommodating. I ordered by phone for a pickup order. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed and told it would be a few more minutes. I was offered a chair and something to drink while I waited. They told me about their lunch budget and gave me a card for a discount to come back in the future. When the food arrived a few minutes later I was thanked. The food was delicious, butter chicken and mango chicken, and a huge serving of rice. Very good food. We'll be back.

When I first heard of this place I was excited! I love India food! I was pleasantly surprised and amazed. The customer service, ambiance, and over all experience was amazing. I had the BAYGAN BHARTA so much flavor made it vegan too. Amazing! The whole table had an incredible experience and loved all the food we had.
We will definitely make this a family dinner place for a long time!😀
Very good and affordable! Really enjoyed the beautiful decor. Their masala was so delicious it was shocking. We had the vegetable korma and mushroom masala.
The mango lassi was exquisite. The food was delicious. I had the mutton korma. The portions were good, and prices were reasonable. Friendly staff.

This was my husband's first encounter with Indian food and this has become our new favorite place to eat!!
New to Indian food & the people here were so helpful in helping us pick our dishes. My husband and I had the dinner for two and ate our fill, with enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day!
Don't be afraid to try new places and this is a must try!! Can't recommend it enough!

Flavors of India is a cozy little place, hidden behind Wingers in West Jordan. It's hard to spot from the road, but it's in-between the movie theaters and the aforementioned restaurant.
The atmosphere and decorations are nice and definitely has an Indian flare... The only downside are the 10 or so TVs playing various channels. One was showing Shaun the sheep, others Indian music videos. I guess it has more the feel of an Indian sports bar, maybe?
The food is actually quite good. I had the "Baingan Bharta", essentially eggplant, tomato and onion dish served with basmati rice. The flavor is very good.
I've been here multiple times and I've always been impressed with the food. I docked a star for the service. As I said, been here multiple times and I've never had a server smile or seem very friendly. Every time I go it's like everyone that works there hates being there. So for this, I dock the star because it almost feels like they are annoyed that you came in.
The food is excellent, however, and the price isn't bad, so give them a try. Ignore the bad customer service and enjoy the food.
UPDATE:
It never fails, you can't get anyone to smile that works here or act like they want to be here. My Baingan Bharta was thick and a little dry this time. They are usually very consistent and good quality. A little disappointed today... No docking of stars, however, as this visit may have been a fluke.

The flavors are unreal. This is made fresh to order, so it takes a little time... the flavors are worth it.
A Medium heat level is decently spicy with a consistency in spice.
The food here is delicious. The restaurant was very clean, the staff where friendly and helpful. They has people from India serving and making the food. Their accents made it a little difficult to understand them, but it added to the overall experience. The decorations where very cool as well.
Pleasant and friendly staff. Booths support conversation. Multiple flat screens showing several Indian Bollywood music channels. No sound so that you can hear each other.
I would rate prices $$$, so I won't be able to eat here often. But the quality of the food deserves the price.
Also the staff care deeply about the customer experience. It was busy, so meal prep took a bit of time. They apologized profusely. I told them the food is worth the wait and they were pleased.
If we are ever near this restaurant during lunch buffet hours, I am eager to give it a try.
