My family loves the chocolate! Their cakes are perfect for birthdays, anniversary’s, or any special occasion! My favorite is the Husband cake or the lemon mini cupcakes! Definitely recommend trying them!
Best cake ever!!! The Chocolate is amazing!! The Husband is to die for and the sugar cookies, so good. Don't forget about the lemon bars. OMG!

We stopped by The Chocolate and was pleasantly surprised! This lovely dessert shop had a good variety of sweet treats. The staff was super nice and welcoming right as we walked in. The shop was a historical home converted into a bakery/restaurant and has such a fun vibe to it. Such a wonderful dessert place with some amazing choices! Can’t wait to go back soon ☺️
Very polite staff. I ordered a Chocolate cheesecake and it was pretty good!
Went to the Real So vet game and looked for a fun Hot Chocolate place afterwards. We found The Chocolate not to far away. We tried a kazookie. Sugar cookie and hot chocolate. They all tasted amazing!!! My mommy son date was amazing and everything was so yummy! The store is in an older home and they made the rooms sitting areas for people to gather and has a really cool vibe. Would go there in a heartbeat again.
Great dessert date night spot! We got the cazookie original chocolate chip. Soft, warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on top. The place is so cozy and there is a lot of seating inside. Also great for a group setting if you want to go with friends or family. There are many other yummy desserts. I've tried their cakes and brownies and they are delicious as well!
We come here a lot for the cakes. But tonight I wanted the cazookie and I don’t regret it. I got the half peanut butter and half white chocolate macadamia nut with one scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. And it was delicious. There cakes are also very good. Favorite is Kitty Katrina and the Cherub. The husband is good too. But yes I would highly recommend this spot.
This has been a favorite for me and my people since the beginning of High School. Over the years seeing the change in furniture and paint has made it feel even more like a home. We have always been treated so well and have had good relations with all of the employees. The chocolate chip Cazookie (or other specialty flavors) have always been my favorite!
I always love The Chocolate! The treats are so decadent and the atmosphere is cute and cozy. We tried the profiteroles this time and they were very expensive, too dry, and the choux was way too chewy. But, the staples, the cake and bars and ice cream, were awesome.
Their cakes are beautiful and so delicious! I was craving a strawberry cake, found this bakery and ordered a quarter sheet of a Strawberries and Cream cake and a mini Hummingbird cake. They were ready as soon as I arrived for pickup and looked incredible!
Seeing the displays, I also had to try a few other goodies! I got a berry trifle cup, a strawberry shortcake, and a slice of The Cherub. Everything was so tasty!
My sister tried The Brooklyn Blackout, caramel trifle cup, and The Cherub, and said she enjoyed everything.
So glad I decided to try this place and will definitely be back!
Is almost impossible to find a more charming place in South Jordan/Draper area that offers great American cookies and cakes.
Their selection is small ( I like that) but every cookie and every cake here is worth to be tried and , trust me , you’re going to enjoy most of them.I don’t like vanilla and love their vanilla cookies and cake.
Their chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I have ever tried as well as the chocolate and peanut butter one (such a rich flavor).
They even have a sale ruin of quality hot chocolate which I tell you is worth to try.
Plenty of parking around and a wonderful place to take your love one or date to enjoy a sweet , quality taste of pure delights.
Great place, in an old historic home. The bakery is fantastic. Had the Husband cake, which is great and a seasonal Peppermint Bark cake - which was amazing.
Staff is super kind, and more than generous in helping sort through all the options.
I had the cazookie. If you have two taste buds that need to be pleased or two people with different wants. You can buy one cazookie and do a half and half. You can't lose either way, their cookies are so good and the ice cream adds that real nice pop of flavor.
Cazookies are the best! Wish they had the snickerdoodle one more but the others are really good! Bischoff is a close second. Haven’t had a bad thing yet.
The Chocolate is a fun dessert shop in an old vintage house. It’s easy to miss because it shares a parking lot with a gardening store. It has lots of cakes and cookies. We got the Kazookie which is where they cook a cookie when they pull it out of the oven they put ice cream on top. It was OK. I wish I would’ve tried one of their cakes instead.
My husband and I were on a date last night, from out of state and just discovered this gem last night. The honey, pear, ricotta cake was delicious! I love that they were open late and their customer service was wonderful. We will definitely be coming here again!
Delicious yellow cake. Thick, rich fudge like brownie with a light peanut butter frosting. Delectable double chocolate cupcake. We all loved what we ordered here! Our only regret is that we couldn't try more sweets. Oh well, guess we better come back another time!
We bought our wedding cake from this company two years ago and loved it! Especially the chocolate cake with Raspberry filling. So we went back for an anniversary date. The Cafe was cute with plenty of seats inside and out. And we got the chocolate chip cookie with the scoop of ice cream which was yummy and a caramel million dollar bar and that was divine! I loved the texture of the shortbread with the caramel and chocolate and it wasn't too sweet which I really appreciated. This is definitely something I could crave in the future.
