Awesome warm vegetarian food. Service is top notch. If you are looking for south Indian food, this is the place to go. When we were visiting Utah, we went 2 days in a row to eat here. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality food.
Absolutely excellent vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food option. The food was very authentic from south India and well made without much use of oil. The crew is very courteous and quick to serve hot and fresh food. We enjoy food here at Balaji each time we visit Salt Lake City from Idaho.
Very good South indian vegetarian restaurant in valley with wide variety of dosa, uthappam and many more south indian dishes.
Weekend thali is a good try. With curries, poori / paratha , rice , sambar, rasam and sweet.
Have been visiting this place from couple of years now and the taste is consistent throughout except chutney. They could improve chutney.
Nice Ambiance, Authentic South Indian food
We loved Dosa both Masala Dosa and Mumbai dosa were awesome.
My kids had Nutella Dosa they loved it
Price is reasonable, only Dosa place in SLC.
They are Vegan And Vegetarian.
The spices are on point! Let me say that again, the spices are better than most! This place makes their food with love as the magic ingredient. Taste is perfect, love everything about this place. Plenty of food at @$15 and a salad that’s pretty dang good as well. If you like bland American Indian food, this is not the place for you. If you like authentic and laters that fill your entire pallet, it’s worth 15 bucks.
This was my best experience with most authentic south indian food. The food was free and felt like sitting with family. The owners are extremely humble, polite and generous. We reached at closing time but still accommodated us and let us eat and enjoy food without rushing. If you have not been here you’re missing the real taste of south india!! Thank you for such a pleasing experience, never had one like this here in US.
Its different from most indian places but I have to say it has its plus. as you can see I had the combination plate to be able to try the different things and it wasn't bad at all. You can get it at any spice level non to 10. I had medium and it was just right. This is more like a fast food snack dish so all vegetables. I'll be back to try some of there other meals soon maybe tomorrow. I'll have to try the masala drink. Wonder what that's like. They are very shy and will answer your question so dont be put off by the non smiling face and very soft spoken voices. They are patient with us who are Willing to try new foods right here in south Jordan.
This will make you think about vegan restaurants in different way. The best dosas in Utah. I went there with group of Indian friends and we had almost every dish in the menu. Everything was amazing. The paneer pakora and the chili paneer for appetizers. Also, we got different dosas. I would definitely come back in Wednesday for the buffet. They also have nice mango juice.
Only Pure Vegetarian Restaurant in town. Always freshly prepared food. Always clean place and humble people. Love their authentic south indian dishes as well as their Chili Paneer Dry (and also other Indo-Chinese dishes) is delicious. I have tried their "Thaali" (Platter/Full Dish) couple of times and it is always great. Even during pandemic times, they took good measures for dine in as well as keeping hand sanitizer upon entering the restaurant. Weekends are crowded, so people who are still taking care in this pandemic times, heads up for you there. 🙂
The best south Indian food! I would rate them better than many top restaurants in south India.. you won't be disappointed. The ambience is just about decent...
