Food was great and service was just as excellent! We had food catered for a birthday party and they went above and beyond to meet our expectations! The food was as fresh as if you were eating it in the restaurant and they set everything up for us! We will definitely order from here again for any future parties! Thank you!!!

There are so many good pizza restaurants in this area its hard for one to stand out- but two things make this place among the best: the amazing service and the above average ambiance and cleanliness.
Sure their food is great- we ate here several times while our home was devastated by Sandy and felt lucky to have a good place to dine for such a reasonably price right in our area, that still had power.
But what they excel at is some of the friendliest, fastest and attentive service I have ever come across. I am a long-time musician and having performed in so many restaurants and bars over many years I can tell you I know great service when I see it.
Their venue is always spotless- and the only drawback is possibly that it might be too popular at times- they are known as a great place to book a kids party so there are times when its quite crowded.
But even then we have gotten fine service, and I think the management should be commended for hiring and encouraging a great staff who make dining here or taking out always a great move.

The atmosphere was fine and the people very friendly, but go for the food - it is genuinely good! I was , however, a bit disappointed with the service, but I am hoping our server was just having an off night. They were not busy when we arrived, but our party of 6 was not permitted to sit at a table set for 5 where we thought conversation would be better even though we understood there would be less room. Two salads came out with the wrong dressing. We were given additional bread without additional butter and had to ask for it. One in our party asked for his pasta to be served on the side with the same sauce that was on his chicken- the wrong sauce was brought out. It took a little time to get the server's attention and she openly admitted it was her fault, but the replacement did not arrive at the table until we were essentially done with our meals, so that was disappointing.
This restaurant is a treasure. A nondescript outside belies an amazing dining experience. The food and service are top tier. The place is immaculately clean. Go here now!
Recommend the eggplant rollatini or any of the veal dishes. Nice that it's BYOB so we can bring our own red wine. Note that there's the main dinning room on the left and a fancier room to the back right. Plenty of parking.
Every time we’re working in the area, we stop in for some pizza. Hands down one of the best pizza places ever. And I’m from NY, so take my word for it. Lol. The staff is nice. This place is always clean.
What a hidden gem. We had dinner in the dining room. For appetizers we had mussels in marinara and eggplant rollintini. Both were delicious. Dinner came with soup or salad. The chicken soup was excellent. The vodka sauce and the shrimp franchise were both delicious. Service was friendly and great.
Really delicious food! Just moved to the area and was having a hard time finding my new pizzeria. First order was a plain cheese pie & buffalo wings. Both so good! Ordered again the following week and got the same and added an order of fries and garlic cheese bread. Another great order.
I also ordered through the Slice app during the current social distancing rule in effect and opted for contactless delivery both times. They delivered super quickly, ran the bell then sat in the car to check I received the order. Super friendly delivery as they waved and greeted me from their car.

Traveling for work and looking for some killer jersey pizza. Drove past earlier in the day and decided to give theirs a try. Large Pepperoni and garlic pizza was delicious, way better then the pizza where I live.
I really enjoy going to LaScarpetta pizza in West Long Branch.... They are very nice and always willing to go above and beyond... Recently I went there for their Sicilian pizza. They were out for the day... The gentleman behind the counter offered to make me a few slices... And he did! It was delicious.. He honestly didn't have to do that.. Most place would not have offered. Their Sicilian is the best! Crunchy crust on the outside and warm soft dough on the inside....
Visiting from out of town. Stopped in and got a Cesar Salad, Meatball Parm sandwich, and garlic cheese bread. The Garlic Cheese Bread was so so. But the sandwich and salad were awesome. The sandwich is so big, I'm bringing half of it home. Definitely stop in if you're nearby.

I happen to be single ! I wouldn't choose another place other than here to have Italian food. Of course, when I'm not around my area in which I live, I go to other places.
If you who are reading this review, please go there and order! Bring your girlfriend, boyfriend and, or the entire family, and you will experience the feeling that the entries, appetizers, deserts, don't forget the pizza, all make La Scarpetta a hidden treasure, and you have to read my review, get the directions and just GO.
If you are not familiar with where this restaurant is located, or the strip mall at which it is located, I not only hope that you will, I strongly recommend that, if you live within 5 or 25 miles from here, please go and try it ! No disappointed

I have never dined in here before but I always order through doordash! We love the meatballs and the penne vodka with chicken- just make sure to get extra sauce since I feel without it it’s a little dry!

Great variety of Italian dishes made daily. Fresh pizza as well. The wait staff are very attentive to your needs. There is a party room in the rear and gluten-free pasta options. There are family style option dishes as well as buffet menu choices for parties. Good food and great people.
