Tiny little ice cream stand but definitely worth a visit. The people working there are upbeat and friendly, the unique flavors are really tasty, and there’s something for the less adventurous people too. Love it!
In a city that flourishes on tourist traps one should always aim for the smaller establishments. City creamery was that choice.
We had some coffee/expresso infused ice cream. The portion was smaller than the photo showing the native american who opted for Dairy Queen across the road but I am confident that ours tasted way better.
Delicious ice cream ... very interesting flavors. My wife got Huckleberry, and I got Banana Nut. The Banana Nut tasted like the cake but in a cold and creamy way. Loved it. The Huckleberry was subtle but very nice. They allowed anyone that asked to taste anything they were curious about. Very friendly folk.
Yummy ice cream. These are the same folks that own the ice cream shop in Virginia City, MT. Come by during the day and they are making the ice cream fresh out front in their maker. Loved my scoop of peach and huckleberry ice cream in a waffle cone. Kids love mint cho chip.
Yum ice cream & good value. Had huckleberry & double choc orange. Two scoops for $2:50. Friendly staff also
Yummy!. Great ice cream.
Strongly suggest trying.
What a fun place for dessert! They have a changing selection of small batch ice cream and you’ll find some new ones and some old favorites. Everyone working here is very friendly. Line might seem long but it moves pretty fast. Available in a cup or homemade waffle cone. Get you some!! Bonus: walk around besides the small collection of available tables and you can watch ice cream being made!
The huckleberry ice cream that my kids got was fantastic. I absolutely should have gotten that. The huckleberry shake I got was a disappointment. Diluted way too much with milk and very small for how expensive it was. Cool place for ice cream though, and a local shop which is always important. Just don't get a shake.
Got too excited and took some first bites before taking a photo. Huckleberry flavor is refreshing! $8 for three scoops is a great deal. My favorite is huckleberry with honey and lavender taste.
I loved their ice cream! And the fact they made it right there was pretty cool! The ice cream was easily 5 stars and really good! I got the wedded bliss! It was really good! They had homemade fudge layered in as well as pecans which was really good. The one thing about this place that made me drop it a star was the cones. They are homemade which is cool, but they crumble and become a mess. They give them to you in an extra cup because of that. I’d rather they just give me a store bought cone that works.
Huckleberry with honey and lavender and chocolate orange flavors were amazing
Delicious! Our family always makes it an emphasis to find the best ice cream when we are on vacation and this is the best in West Yellowstone! Made daily and locally we truly loved it! The standard Huckleberry ice cream was delicious and as you’ve probably already seen in Montana, Huckleberry is everywhere! We tried another but it was not even close to as good as the City Creamery! The chocolate, cookies and cream and Wedded Bliss was also fantastic! Though you will need to get there early in order to have your choice of flavors, as they run out quickly! So eat your dessert first as you wait to get into a restaurant, it’s well worth it! Oh and we’re going to buy one of her trucker hats too, great design!
The cowboy crunch Ice cream with a waffle cone was an amazing way to end the day. The ice cream was fantastic; as well as, the service. Thank you City Creamery!
