Good Breakfast. The new eggwhite delight mcmuffins are good. Coffee is also good.
As the only real fast food place anywhere near or in the park (don't bother wasting your time with the park "restaurants"), it's great. Incredibly speedy and always warm food. Same predictable selection as any other location. Loved grabbing cinnamon rolls at 7 in the morning and taking them into the park. Then grabbing dinner on the way back to the hotel at 9 or later. Great staff and service.
Had a later than planned night at Yellowstone, so we stopped here for dinner. The restaurant was very clean. This includes the bathrooms. The Mens had recently been cleaned and was fully stocked. We ordered our food and we got all our sauces, including the Ketchup.
A few things to be aware of when visiting this location. The first is that the preferred method of ordering is via a kiosk. There are three of them to the right, as you walk into the building.
The second thing to be aware of is that yes, you can get your order to stay but you will not find any places to sit. You will be required to stand. You simply use the tables to hold your food. This wasn’t a big deal for us, as we had been sitting for a couple of hours and it was good for all of us to stretch.
Lastly, if you are in the restaurant, face masks are encouraged, but nobody will say anything if you don’t have a mask. If you are squeamish about this, I would suggest not staying and eating, as you are closer to others eating. I would suggest using the drive up to get your food.
McDonald's was our go-to location for picking up our breakfast on our Yellowstone National Park trip. This is near the West Yellowstone National Park entrance. The best part of this is it open pretty early and closes late. Love the egg muffins and the hash browns for the breakfast.
Fast service; very clean establishment and helpful staff. But dining is not open yet. Only drive-thru and takeouts.
Literally the best fast food experience I've had in my entire life. The drive thru staff were so friendly and fun, I've never seen anything like it. We're not big McDonald's eaters, but we'd definitley go out of our way to eat here again, just based of this one great experience.
We went there for ice-cream cones and were pleasantly surprised to find the machine working (in our hometown it often isn't). The best part of our drive thru experience was the nice guy working the drive thru window. He was really friendly! This was on April 21st between 7 and 8 pm in the evening. Great customer service! He told us about the baby Buffalo in the park and some other stuff.
Thank goodness this place exists in West Yellowstone because I can only eat so many expensive burgers, sandwiches, and pizza slices at these restaurants lol. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because it is TINY. Good luck finding a place to sit in there because it is compact and crowded. But, the workers were really sweet and did a great job with the food.
