Food is very good, so are the service and beautifully ornamented outdoor dining areas. The spaghetti in cheese wheel is rich of creamy texture, although slightly too salty. Be ware of the mosquitoes at night, other than that this is a restaurant I would come back for all occasions!
We recently held a funeral luncheon at Cena 081. The experience was beyond our expectations during such a difficult time. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and the staff were incredibly compassionate and accommodating. The food was delicious; each dish was prepared to perfection. Everything was delicious, from the calamari that was cooked to perfection to the chicken parmigiana. The owner was very understanding of our situation and went above and beyond to ensure the luncheon went smoothly. He was flexible with the menu options and seating arrangements to accommodate our group size. I highly recommend this restaurant not just for its great food but also for the compassion and professionalism of its staff. Thank you to everyone at Cena 081 for providing great food and service during our difficult time.
Just stopped by for a quick bite, got 2 appetizers and was very satisfied. Their octopus salad was very original amd a flavor explosion!! The most tender octopus it cut with a fork, then you have the sweet peppers, the tart olives and the cool tomatoes was the most amazing bite!!! And then the baked clams , you get a nice amount and they are super tasty. Nice frosted glass for your beer and 2 different flavors or dipping oil for the great bread. This place is always good for a great meal.
Great service. Excellent food. Homemade garlic mashed potatoes are to die for. Loved the outdoor patio!
Very nice Italian restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly. Outdoor seating was on point. The inside is nicely decorated and bigger than it looks from out on Post Ave. Wine selection was excellent, bottle prices a little high however.
Food was on point and quickly prepared. The chicken wings with peppers and onions were delicious as was the eggplant. Appetizer portions slightly small. For main courses all of the pasta was perfectly cooked to "just" Al dente level as it should be. Portions were huge. My brother got the Sunday sauce with all the various meats in it and it was the show stopper of the night. Dessert menu was a bit lacking.
If you can eat outside and don't spending a bit of coin I'd certainly recommend this place.
Amazing food, everything we had was awesome, I've gone there three times in the last two months. Our waiter Carlos was fun even when he didn't serve our table, the manager Armando is awesome too and he does a dish/show with fire and a cheese wheel, it made me love pasta again, it was so good. The chef Francesco even stopped by to say hi to patrons even though they were so busy, he is an amazing chef!
Everything I had so far was my favorite, I really can't decide between the Rigatoni Genovese or the Frutti Di Mare but I was most surprised by the Risotto they made in the mini cement mixer, before that I didn't care much for Risotto.
Definitely going back soon, the outdoor area in the back is beautiful, I can't wait to have drinks and get some pizza out of the brick oven, the pizza we had was great.
1st time here but heard it was great so decided to practice self love and treat myself to dinner for one lol Bartender, Kathy, was very sweet and attentive. I went with her recommendation of the Branzino oreganata. Opted to switch the roasted potatoes for garlic mashed and sautéed spinach. Everything was so delicious and seasoned well. They played some modern dance mixes that had me dancing in my seat. Enjoyed a limoncello spritzer from the drink special menu and it wad refreshing and just sweet enough. Decided to treat myself even further and enjoy some homemade cannollis which were equally delicious. Would definitely return with family or friends.

The star of the evening, of course, was the pizza itself. True to its Italian roots, the pizza was a symphony of flavors, expertly orchestrated. The crust had the perfect balance of crispness and chew, the sauce tasted as though it was crafted from the sweetest vine-ripened tomatoes, and the cheese—oh the cheese—melted perfectly, tying everything together.
Everything about this pizzeria exuded authenticity, from the delectable pizza to the cordial staff. This isn't just a pizza place—it's a culinary adventure transporting you straight to Italy, and a testament to the beauty of Italian cuisine and hospitality. It's a place you absolutely must experience. We cannot recommend it highly enough!
Sat at the outdoor patio. The decor was really pretty with a water fountain and cute overhanging lights. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our large group. We got there early so there were only a few tables taken but by the end of the night it was really busy and you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves. They had a DJ playing music all night and they had TV's playing baseball games. The food was delicious. We had multiple appetizers and my favorite was the baked clams, sooo good. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals. Once it got dark outside they set up a projector to play another baseball game. The ambiance was very nice and you felt very secluded from anything going on outside the restaurant. Definitely recommend going here. I would love to come back.
