always fresh...never refrigerated taste. selection seemed to have been trimmed to stuff that sells but as long as it is tasty... and the staff is nice. price is reasonable .. try bake goods that's been displayed too long elsewhere... see how much that costs :).

This was our first experience in Carlos Bakery and I have to say it was awesome!!! Jacob was super nice and very attentive to his guests and the desserts were delish. I will definitely visit this bakery again when I come back to visit from FL!

I am a fan of Bovellas a few doors down. This place is overpriced. Also swiss pastry in Scotch Plains is awesome and the owner is a true gentleman who cares about his customers. Its great that we have options.

Extremely pricey. Cake was good but it wasn't worth the $50 I spent on it. The WORST part is the people working there were extremely rude. No hello, how are you, thank you etc. I just bought a $50 cake and there was no decency in their service.

Ordered a vanilla birthday cake a week ahead with the stress on VANILLA. Arrived the evening to pick it up. Wasn't ready. Finally got the cake. Cut it open at the party. Cake had a chocolate filling. Not good for a $40 cake.

Cannoli was ok but can't compare to Mike's Pastry in Boston. Rainbow cake was dry and overpriced compared to other local bakeries.

The bakery is fantastic, really high standards, the taste is fenomenal and it's carlo's I mean you can't go wrong

Googled this place and drove all the way to it, under the impression it was opened until 9 pm. When I arrived at 825 pm it was closed and shut down for the night. Do we need an updated hour list?
