The Nam An chicken rice is great, with the ginger chilly fish sauce. The lemon grass grilled chicken is so so. Try the deep fried sticky rice, it was the highlight. The food didn’t come out fast. The staff all looked sad.

My go to place for Pho Ga. I’ve tried multiple pho restaurants in Orange County and this is the best so far. The broth is clean, the meat is lean and juicy. Great place!

Went with some Singapore friends when I visited the area. Heard about their awesome chicken rice so we really had to try it.
We ordered 2 kinds of Chicken. The soya sauce stewed chicken and the steamed chicken. Not quite the same as the infamous Singapore Chicken Rice but it was very close. From the condiments to the boneless and tender chicken and the flavored rice. Sumptuous!! We ordered their chicken salad and their grilled pork as well which were more Vietnamese in style and they too were very delicious. Will go again on my next visit.

Best restaurant for everything chicken. Their com ga nam an was delicious! My friend had their Pho ga nam an and that was delicious. Very clean inside after Covid19.

I enjoyed my meal here. I had #6; chicken on a bed ‘crispy rice’. Food was fresh, tasty. Portion size was good. Service was good. Dining area decor better than usual. Price - more than small ‘mom/pop’ place, but not unreasonable.

Lemongrass chicken is great. Service was quick ! We waited like maybe 5 minutes max.

Forogt to take pictures as we hungry and the rice chicken and porridge with chicken salad come out so good. They all carefully debone and cook so well that can preserve the flavour, still juicy. They must be free range chicken as the meat is full of flavour and firm.

We were a group of 8 persons. Didn't arrive at the same time, but the waitress was very patient, friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is clean and roomy.
We ordered different dishes of chicken -. Chicken salad, sticky rice with grilled chicken, clear noodle chicken soup . I tried a little bit of everything, and really like the taste of each dish. Each dish has its own taste; chicken were juicy and perfectly cooked, not too tender or tough. Cabbage salad, condiments were really fresh.
Another friend ordered crab noodle soup, which must have been very good because she finished the whole big bowl.
Next time I will definitely try the fish noodle soup here. The fish paste I tried was excellent, tasty and had the right texture.
Overall, it was a great experience meeting friends and having good food. Will come back and recommend this restaurant for sure!

Always a place at the top of my list! Their chicken is amazing! I usually get their special but they have salads, pho, dry noodles and much more! Their seasonings and marinade/sauces are on point!

Disclaimer, I didn't eat any of the chicken. Generally not a huge fan of Vietnamese food. But the coconuts were amazing and so was the crispy rice!
The Bun Bo Hue was super spicy, but this is coming from someone who cries eating Hot Cheetohs. There was also too much lemongrass in it and didn't seem like a traditional Bun Bo Hue. The rating is pretty much all for the coconuts and crispy rice (which you can order as a side).

Nam An chicken dish is very good. Every time I go to OC I order for togo. I haven't seen any Hainam chicken that comparable to Nam An style in 626 area. Highly recommend if you are into hainam chicken style.

I was in the area to take care of some real estate business.
It was around lunch time, and I remember I had Com Ga Nam An Chicken Rice on my to-try list.
I got there around 11am. The restaurant was still empty.
But it got filled up pretty quickly after that.
This Vietnamese restaurant specializes in chicken.
There’s chicken rice dishes and chicken noodle dishes.
I ordered their #1 Com Ga Nam An – Nam An’s style chicken rice.
You can choose to have the chicken with skin or without skin.
The chicken was done really well. It still has the chewy texture to it.
Chicken rice was flavorful, and I can taste each grain of rice.
There were 3 dipping sauce – ginger oil, sweet sauce, and sweet soy sauce.
I like to dip my chicken in mixture of all 3 sauces.
The rice also comes with a bowl of soup.
I assume it is chicken soup (?) with cilantro and scallion.
It was a tasty plate of rice. Just wish portion was a bit bigger.
I would definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

The removes bone steam chickens are one of their best dishes. It cone with either steam rice or poridge, including specially made salad and ginger-fish-sauce. Those are one of my favorite dishes.

It's really clean eating when it comes to the hainan style chicken. I felt that it was a little bland even with the sauces but I don't mind it much. it's just lacking a little something and I can't figure it out because I don't think you're supposed to have salt on the chicken...you're opinion may differ from mine of course. Service was fine unlike most of the reviews I've read, who cares if they don't speak perfect English, you're at a Viet restaurant. I'm very perturbed by those who review complaining so damn much as if they're royalty and a self proclaimed food critique or "foodie", it's a mom and pop business and your words can literally hurt their business. If you know restaurant owners, you know it's a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and hot sauces...you would probably like the hainan chicken. Furthermore, my 3 stars is simply for that dish alone and not for the restaurant in its entirety.
3 stars for the hainan chicken.
5 stars for the Vietnamese kid who served us.
Just try it for yourself and don't mind the jerks who write such heinous reviews, get the pho outta here with that noise.
