I was very disappointed with my dinner tonight.
First I had to have them wipe off my table!!! Dinner specials," there was nothing special about it!!!
My wife had a filet and a pan fried soft shell crab. The filet was the size of a quarter and had no flavor whatsoever.
I had the seared salmon or should I say salmon jerky!!!
I'll just leave it at that.
Great place to hang out for cocktails but won't be having dinner there any time soon.
The FB post caught our eye around 2 pm this afternoon. Carol and I decided to visit at around 6. We each got a glass of wine, the two special appetizers and the fried cheese triangles. Finished by sharing a slice of the lemon cake. Nice evening, great server (Lauren) and good meal.
Great atmosphere, outstanding service, and the food was awesome. I had the crab cake sandwich. It's a must for crab cake lovers.
Loved starting with Maryland crab soup combined with cream of crab soup (North vs South...I think?)...delicioso! And Rafael's burgers are always on point! Thank you for great food and even better service!
Always have a great meal at Raf’s. The employees are friendly and attentive and go out of their way to give you great service. Love this place!

We have never been disappointed and make breakfast a tradition for my mom's birthday every year (she's 85 and counting and loves it �). The best breakfast selections with great service and prices!

Folks, here's the reality .... my father and I are military veterans and we could have gone to a number of places for a burger, fries and a drink. Instead, we chose to go to Rafael's so we could have their delicious, juicy crafted burgers and great fries along with a couple of selected microbrews. If you want just a burger , go to McDonalds, if you want a classic burger, go to Rafael's. Yumbolicious!!
We had a wonderful dinner of stuffed shrimp and crab cakes and got the entrees half price since we were there on a Monday ! Great service from Summer our waitress ! Also got a bottle of wine $10 off on Monday. A great way to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary!
I love the great flavor sensations and many choices at Rafael's! And the service is always great! One of my top restaurant picks in Westminster.

Great food, limited menu. I also agree that we've never waited less than a half hour to get our dinners. Bar scene is good!
Food was great and our waitress was fun. The only thing that eerked us was how long it took to get our food. We did however get there a little after noon on a Sunday so that may have influenced that. The bay chips are fantastic and the steak house burger was awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant and would eat there again in a heart beat.

Consistently good! Veggies are nicely prepared.. We've been to Rafael's several times and the food there is always good, fresh, artfully presented, and a little surprising. I especially like that they prepare side dishes and vegetables with as much care as the entrée. Tasty! The service this time (as always) was good. A minor problem with the bill was quickly resolved.
We both had the cream of crab soup which I thought was very good. My date thought it was "OK". His entrée was the Filet Medallion Steak which came prepared to his liking, with potatoes, mushrooms, and snow peas, and topped with a port wine reduction. He liked it very much! It was the most expensive item on the menu. I opted for the Grilled Portabella Napoleon. Layers of mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, couscous, with a hearty pesto, pine nuts and a sprinkle of parmesan. So good! And each bite had its own unique blend of flavors. (that's what I meant by "surprising"). Or meals were very filling. We had to take some home.
Rafael's has a nice deck and we eat there in the summer. But if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, stay inside. There's not much ventilation out there, believe it or not. Also, Westminster's finest firefighters are stationed right across the alley. So just be ready for some action occasionally. Cheer them on!

You have to go and see the new renovations. The place looks amazing and the food is so good. I recently had the Hot Italian and my husband had the Salmon BLT. Both were great and the hand cut fries were off the chart. We had an order of the Bang Bang Shrimp to start and they were BANGING! They also have a raw bar attached to the main bar, so if you are into Raw Oysters this is the place for you.
The staff really makes you feel welcomed and our server couldn't have been any nicer. During our meal the owner came by to make sure we were happy with everything. All around great experience from start to finish.

Very good American style restaurant in downtown Westminster MD. Pretty large lunch menu. Burger very good with many add on options. Teriyaki shrimp stir fry was done very well (a little on the spicy side). BBQ chicken was excellent. Portions very nice for lunch. Good drink menu. No real parking, need to use metered lots nearby. Waitstaff very friendly. Definitely recommend.
Since re-opening in October of 2022, I've eaten here close to 10 times. Sometimes I just stop in for an appetizer and a drink and other times for a full meal with my wife. The new artwork and interior changes only add to the enhanced menu full of fresh additions. Service is excellent and the food is outstanding. The Oyster raw bar is a nice touch and there is a terrific selection of both premium and rail liquor. The menu includes options for those with dietary restrictions. The new white, ultra-leather stools at the bar and chairs in the dining room are SUPER comfy and classic in design. I know that's an odd thing to focus on, but how many times have you sat in a chair or stool in a bar or restaurant that was uncomfortable and your attention is focused on that instead of the cuisine?
Best wings in town!! Plus newly renovated and an amazing new menu including fresh steaks cuts and oysters. Our Friday dinner was awesome. The owner always there greeting and serving customers. You are not going to be disappointed!
Today we had a baby shower for my daughter in law at Rafael’s! Everything was fantastic! It was so simple and convenient from the scheduling, menu planning up to the day of the shower, Rafael and his staff knocked it out of the park. Everyone was super friendly and very attentive, the food was outstanding (and plenty of it). It was a great day and I highly recommend you check them out. Stop in for lunch or dinner or consider having your next gathering or event there!
Have not been there in a few years because of all that's been going on.
Stopped in for a quick bite and a beverage or 3.
Some nice renovations and menu changes that were tasty(tried the sliders which were awesome!).
Need to stop in and try a full meal and/or the brunch once that's back on the menu!
Staff is friendly and attentive.
Hope the deck will be open this summer with bands to rock out to!

(I did have to buy an extra shot of vodka for the drinks… stingy with the alcohol)
The good was excellent. Got the Chicken Oscar and it was prepared wonderfully. The only negative is we got our dessert to go and had it later that evening, but the German Chocolate Cake was a bit dry. I will attribute it to the delay in reading and and go back for a second try for more Chicken Oscar and eat dessert there, this time - LOL 🤣
