The Moon Thai and Japanese restaurant was excellent!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! My waitress was Fani and she was very accommodating and attentive to our wants. I absolutely loved her as our waitress. She was knowledgeable and answered my questions very well. The food was really good. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and I had it for the first time and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very chill and the cherry on top was that they held the door for us when we left. Definitely will be back!!🤩
I had the Pineapple fried rice with shrimp and very good. We had the spring rolls veggie and chicken. I liked the veggie better but were good. Others had sashimi sushi and that was very good too. One had chicken teriyaki and she enjoyed that very much.
First and most important, this restaurant is open late! That in itself would give it an extra star or two, however, not only was I able to get a late meal, I left happy and full! The parking lot is dimly lit and the windows are tinted but when you walk inside your whole world gets a little brighter. You’re greeted by a beautiful host who quickly seats you and, almost instantly, another happy person greets you at the table eager to help you satisfy your hunger! We had the veggie spring rolls, veggie soup and drunken noodles and Pad See Eiew. The meal was fantastic and affordable! I will definitely return when I’m back in town! Happy people work here!!
Moon Thai and Japanese Restaurant was a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk in the door the friendly staff is taking care of you up until the time you depart. The decor is amazing and the bar area stunning. The food was spot on. And Sushi was super fresh.

First off this was just suppose to be a quick meal bf we hit the road to head home. OMGOSH!! The ambiance, service and food was just amazing!! Flavorful, filling and just delightful. They had a huge option for a well priced lunch. The amount of food was perfect! Even took a little for the road that was left over. Hands down this is an amazing date location for anytime of day. I can't wait to go back. Its a must if you ask me!!
Ume, the lovely bartender here was delightful. I’m going through a hard time with my husband in the hospital and I came just to relax. She is amazing. Made food recommendations that were excellent, made me an amazing Tequila Cosmo and lessened my load. She was so great I came a second night. The food was delicious but, her lovely upbeat personality made me come back.
I travel for work covering the entire east coast. This is one of the best places to eat anywhere. Every meal I have gotten here has been delicious. Ginger dressing for the salad is exceptionally well done. Actually, I would say it’s the best ginger dressing I’ve ever had. Typically I order sushi which is always delicious and fresh. I have other dishes like the duck on the lunch special. I attached a picture of this meal. The atmosphere is fantastic. Service has always been great. Prices are reasonable and well worth the service received.

This place was AMAZING. Me and my boyfriend had our half a year anniversary and we wanted to do something special so we simply searched up mango stick rice near us and picked the nicest place, and we don’t regret it even the slightest. The host, was super nice, had a nice conversation with her on my way out. In general, everyone there was delightful and extremely helpful. And the server? Our server was Nick, and he was top down one of our best servers ever. Me and my boyfriend had ordered the Thai Tea…and that changed our lives. It was absolutely amazing. We got pan fried chicken dumplings for our appetizer, and they were simply amazing. Especially with the AMAZING soy sauce, personally Im not a big soy sauce fan, but this place had such a great soy sauce, not too salty at all. And the sushi??? To die for. They were amazing. Our server brought over this sauce for us to try, it was a bit spicy but yet flavorful I cant recall the name, but it was amazing. The prices were great. Very affordable. And then the dessert???? We had the donuts which were AMAZING, I was tempted to buy more lol. And the mango sticky rice??? For my first time trying it, it was amazing..My boyfriend even put the sauce from the donuts on top of the mango and it was just phenomenal. Very chill place, loved the setting, loved the people, loved the food, there’s nothing I would’ve changed about last night. I definitely recommend coming here and giving a nice tip to these wonderful people. We will DEFINITELY be returning next payday, without a doubt. Don’t second think it. Just go here! :))
Super friendly service, and great food! As someone with Celiac, reactive to cross contamination, I was very grateful that they were aware and had gluten free soy sauce (Tamari) that I could use. I didn’t order anything that I was worried about possible cross contamination happening with (I ordered sashimi, rice, edamame, and steamed vegetables) and had a great experience (did not get sick and really enjoyed my meal).
Came in to celebrate my anniversary last week. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good as well. Definitely will visit again.
