The food is amazing. It was packed, and the wait was a bit long, but it's understandable considering it's popularity. The food was every bit worth the wait. I went twice and got prawns one day, and a burger the next. Also got to sample the cod, crab cakes, and clams. All were so fresh and delicious. I could eat there every day. Too bad I have to go back to South Dakota.
I have waited a long time to have Oysters.. being from Utah. It was my Sister and her Hubby's Anniversary. We tried the Clam Strips, the fried oysters, the Crab Melt Sandwich, fish and chips.. Mmm mmm mmm. The Oysters for me were to die for. So good. The service awesome. The gals there were so sweet. Thanks for such wonderful meal and special time that we had there.
We went on the Sunday before 4th of July. As expected it was PACKED! Our food took longer than I would have like it too (45 minutes) but so worth the wait. The halibut is the best I've ever had. I can't go near Westport without stopping at Bennett's. I'm not sure what the other Westport restaurant have too offer because that would mean not eating at Bennett's whicheck isn't an option lol. Their fries are also really good and they have the best tartar sauce.
Lots of people but the food came out fast and everyone was great. The cod fish and chips were done nicely. The fish was nice and fresh. Would definitely go back.
Had the Cod and Chips. It was perfectly cooked as were the fries. Their tartar is also flavorful. Had a cup of chowder too, which was quite tasty. Very good meal.

Best Fish and Chips on the harbor! The "Best of the Best" is my favorite - their cranberry coast salad is delicious as well as their crab melt and chowder. Fast and friendly service too.
Wow! Ok first off, a little pricey, but well worth it. The clam chowder was fantastic. The fish perfectly fried. The fries well seasoned and yummy. Their tarter and cocktail sauce was the best I have ever had. Also they had some soda that was not your normal coke or Pepsi, it was to die for! Over all would highly recommend
In the past it has been 5 stars, this time 6 stars. My better half had halibut, 2 thumbs 👍 up. I had the clam strips, more clams then usual. Both were cooked to perfection, plus I traveled hours out of my to eat there. I have done this in the past, this is not my first time eating here. I even drove down during covid to eat. Wish they had one in greater Seattle area. Spuds does not even come close, NO ONE DOES. Thank you time and time again.
Holy cow! The best prime rib sandwich I've ever had! Awesome! Dungeness crab Melt was great too! A little pricey, but what isn't these days? Great staff and atmosphere... Will eat here again when passing through.
If you eat anywhere in this town this is it. Great patio area to watch boats. Halibut was great, fries crispy, battered cod fantastic, & customer service was what you wanted it to be. They had a good selection on their menu, you should find something to make you happy. Wasn’t too crowed, but very popular. People were buying food then walking over to pier to eat at tables, while watching the boats.
The fish taco was fabulous! I could only eat half and had the rest for dinner.
My sister had the crab and cheese sandwich. She said it was delicious!

Wow, Bennet's has some amazing food and service. We ordered the Cod and Clam combo and although the clams were slightly chewy everything tasted amazing! If you're in Westport and hungry, definitely stop by Bennet's!

Got the prime rib melt and partner got the battered cod. The food was more than satisfying. The only down point was the frozen fries, but they were seasoned to be the best that anyone could hope for.
Food was fanatic. Came because I saw the bread bowls on here and it did not disappoint. My friend got it, I had a side of chowder and fried clam strips. By far the best and biggest clam strips I've ever had. Friend grabbed a hoodie before we left too.
