I’m a very picky person especially for attention to details. This is the only Chinese restaurant or for that matter any Chinese food that I will eat. As a mature adult i have in my lifetime tried thousands of Chinese food. The ingredients they use in this restaurant feels like farm to table quality that’s how fresh and light it tastes. Very fresh and high quality. I’m a cook myself my pallet is very fine tuned. Even the oil used to prepare your meal does not leave an after taste, just light and clean. The service is so friendly and welcoming, they always make their customers feel like family. I very highly recommend Hanami Westwood. We love love It here. Five stars all the way. I have also taken several people who are in the business of traveling and dining all over the world and they have complimented highly the food here. I forgot to mention if you are not in the mood for Chinese food they have VERY GOOD Sushi as well!!! So go and enjoy!!

Really tasty "Chinese" food. This isn't what you would find in Chinatown/Flushing and definitely not your average takeout joint. The dishes are all familiar Chinese-American inspired but cooked with fresh ingredients and without the freezing/deep frying/heavy batter. I haven't tried the sushi but it looked good (and expensive). I guess the would be my only criticism, this place definitely isn't cheap but you get what you pay for! Oh yeah, BYOB
