This place is a great place to stop for reasonably good seafood. The prices are better than other seafood restaurants. The appetizers are very good and good priced as well. The food is always fresh and the service is fast. While the place is a little outdated it just adds character. A must try!
Nice ppl, not as clean as I would like, but the building is very old and the building owner doesn't want to put any money in it.
Food is damn good, portions are fairly large. Price is good for what you get.
I live ALL the way in HOUSTON but every time I go to visit my mom, I make sure I visit this place & have ever since her and my dad moved out there! They fish is from haven it’s nice juicy and crisp, fries are cooked just right with the right amount of seasoning on them as well! I recommend this plac
The fish is out of this world good. The waitress is wonderful. It is a family run business and they are all very very nice. We've been eating here for years. We have not found any other restaurant that can make a better tasting fish.
Selection was as long as the Sierra Madre, portions were huge and the price was crazy reasonable. The food was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend. This is the hole in the wall you don't want to pass up.
I absolutely love this place. It's been around for a long time and they now how to cook. Etufe is my favorite here and it's one of the only places I know that they serve fried alligator for appetizer.
I'm go back it was straight. My first time I had gumbo and fried fish with a salad. I liked it. Matter of fact I'm go today for lunch and get something different. I will let yall Kno how it was
I visit Wharton occasionally. I am not a seafood person but this restaurant has other options. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful!!!!!! The Fried Pickles are the best
Seafood is great! I left my phone in the restaurant, when I got home and called, the waitress had my phone at the cash register waiting for me! Honest too! Thank you Wharton Seafood!
Had 6 shrimp n 3 fried fish with lite batter, fresh tasty fish on a lunch special. And salad. Try n hit these guys at least once a week when in town
