This is the only Chinese buffet in the area. I have definitely been better in Houston. That being said I love Chinese buffets and it's not the worst I go here just appreciating it exists and what it does offer. Does the sushi have real fish, no, but there is sushi. Is there 40+ options, no, but the options they do have are good. I love that they have 3 different types of soaps. I love that they have rice noodles with egg in it. I love that they have steamed dumplings. They have two different types of egg rolls and I can't figure out what the deal is with that but they are both really crispy. And at dinner they have shrimp. If I could add one item to the menu it would be steamed buns. But for what it offers and the location it is in this place is great!!!

Excellent source of food, feels fresh and tasty. There is a large variety of plates to choose from, prices are affordable. The restaurant location is clean and most importantly, they are taking covid precautions. It is a good idea to visit them if you want to eat many different foods with one solid price.

I go there four days a week, every week for lunch. The couple who runs the place is very kind. The chicken and broccoli is always great! 🤤

Delicious food & kind service. I've been eating here since I was a kid. Yes the buffet price is a little high but they provide good reliable service and hot food. Thanks for bringing good food to Wharton!

Food was hot and tasted pretty good for buffet. Not many customers but huge seating area. $11.50 for lunch and I think $13.50 for dinner. Only thing is you use styrofoam plates and plastic utinsels. Only had one choice for sushi and no seafood mains like just shrimp or crab.

Passed through this little town of Wharton,Tx. While we was out trucking trying to get to McAllen!! I wanted Chinese food. We came upon Grand Buffet. Lunch time special was still in effect. Food was good for the price. They were bring out fresh food as we were walking in and leaving. I appreciated that. They kept hot fresh food on the line. It was not crowded at all. About eight of us in the restaurant after lunch time. Egg rolls were hard. Watermelon 🍉 was so sweet and yummy 😋. Customer service was a little disappointing. The waitress clearly looked at mista cup of tea going empty and she just kept going. I looked directly at her. She never came back to the table to ask if we were ok...nothing. Remember it was only eight of us in the whole restaurant eating. That was not good. Other than that if you are going through Wharton, TX and have a taste for Chinese I will recommend. Please just remember customer service is the key!

I generally only go here for the Lo Mein Noodles. I have never had a bad experience here and think everyone is friendly.
