It's more than a deli for sure! It's become a family spot for us. We love the food and the owner and anytime a special lunch is in order, we're at the Dish. My favorite sandwich is the Flyin' Hawaiian..Mmmmm

Great place to grab lunch on the go or sit down and eat. The owner prepares all the food herself adding a personal touch. All of the regulars gladly eat there daily since the menu is slays changing and for the daily specials.

The Daily Dish Deli in Wharton, NJ is easily one of the best places to go for lunch or breakfast in this area. It is a tiny bit off of the main road, but it's worth the trip to get something that isn't from another big fast food chain.
The restaurant is located just over a mile up Berkshire Valley Road, off of 15 North. Tracey, the owner of The Daily Dish Deli, gets started at 4 AM before the sun comes up so that even the earliest of early birds can stop in for a friendly smile and something tasty. The staff is always friendly and they treat everyone like family. If you can imagine going over to a friend's house where his mom and her friends are always cooking delicious food and joking around with people in the dining room, that will give you an idea of what it's like to eat at The Daily Dish.
Speaking of delicious food, The Daily Dish isn't just a fun name. Each day there is a new special which, you've probably already guessed, is called "The Daily Dish". Honey-Sriracha ribs with sweet potato fries, Cuban stuffed pork chops, maple whiskey chicken sandwiches, braised short ribs on creamy goat cheese polenta, lemon garlic baked chicken over a roasted red pepper kale and cannelini bean quionoa, and all manner of things you just won't find anywhere else. But The Daily Dish Deli isn't strictly for the new stuff, owner Tracy Cobb can make comfort food that will impress just as much as the less common fare. Chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, stuffed bell peppers, or even a simple Taylor ham, egg, and cheese can be found at The Dish, and they're all treated with the same amount of love and attention to detail as the "fancier" offerings.
The Daily Dish also has a large menu of sandwiches, burgers, and salads, several of which were created by Daily Dish patrons. If you come up with something delicious enough, she'll put it on the menu for everyone to enjoy. For most places this would be enough, but as a veteran Tracey knows that you can always do more. So naturally The Daily Dish is also a great place to go for event catering or ordering custom desserts for parties.
Vegetarian customers shouldn't be scared away by the lack of veggie options on the menu. If you don't see something you want on the menu, just ask! The staff will be happy to accommodate any reasonable request. I've eaten with vegetarian friends who said the all veggie sandwiches at The Daily Dish are among the best they've had.
I haven't even touched on the daily soup specials, the large refrigerator with an extensive (non-alcoholic) drink selection, the coffee machines that stay hot and ready from the moment the doors open at 4 AM until they close again at 5 PM (Monday-Friday, 6AM-3PM Saturday) or the ever-present baked goods by the door.
No matter what you're in the mood for, you're going to find something to love about The Daily Dish Deli. And on the off chance that you don't see what you want, you can always "Concoct your own deliciousness", as Tracey likes to say. The food, the people, and the feeling of being with friends as soon as you walk in the door make this one of my favorite places to eat.
