Love this place! The food is great - always hot and freshly cooked. The steak is unbelievable! Pam and staff are always kind and easy to deal with. I will definitely be back again and again!
This is our only breakfast restaurant. Not only is the food the best around, they serve gluten free pancakes (!!!) and gluten free French toast(!!!). Those of you who have celiac disease know how rare that is to find a breakfast place with those items. In addition they are perfect when it comes to keeping the gluten food safe from their gluten products. Five stars to this establishment.
Egg'lectic Cafe during bicycling season, is our bike group's destination at the halfway point from many vantage points. The breakfast menu is generous, varied and delicious! It's wonderful to sit outdoors on sidewalk placed tables and chairs with our friends, to relax, cool off, eat and chat. The wait staff has always been kind and accomodating. We'll drive there this winter for dining too, but what a great ride it is, by bicycle, and a superb tradition for which i am grateful.
Great place to take the family for breakfast and friendly staff.
Love the owners and of course, the food!! It's our go-to place for breakfast!
The waitress and all employees were super nice.... The food was great. The cook must have been a southern because the milk gravy was like back home. We will be back soon yum....
Love the menu and the food was fantastic!!
Great food and staff! Lost a house key and they went out of their way to look for it.
Wonderful food and wonderful staff. If you are in Wheaton, don't miss a chance to eat at Egg'lectic Cafe!
Has Never Disappointed. We like coming here Sundays after church. There's usually a short wait, and we get our food quickly. The service is good, and the food is great. I really liked the cinnamon roll french toast, which you can get in a combo with eggs, bacon, and sausage for a reasonable price. My husband likes the omelets and the pancakes. Can't go wrong with Egglectic.
Very good top in area for breakfast
We went to a place called Egglectic Cafe in Wheaton, IL. I had an Iron Man - egg white omelette with sliced mushrooms, avocado, tomato, onions, and green peppers, served with a side of salsa. It was pretty good and the egg white made it a little blan
My friend and I met up for brunch because she lives far away and it was in the middle for us. The food was fresh and we enjoyed it, the coffee was good and the service was on par with most places. The prices were typical and I would go there again. The staff was friendly as well.
Update September 2020: they are open for dine in! Still amazing food, I love it. Great food, great place, nice and quiet, it has plenty of inside waiting space you won't be out in the cold/rain waiting for a table if you have to wait at all.
This food is amazing. Fresh, fast, just yum yum. I would recommend. Great service.
Great little place for breakfast if you’re ever in the WHEATON area.
THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES AND FRENCH TOAST!!!
Went there for brunch on a Sunday, and the food was delicious and service was great.
Good service, always seem to be a bit of a wait. I got the reuben, which was a bit light on the sauerkraut for my liking, but I like sauerkraut. The french onion soup was nicely balanced and tasty and not too hot. My husband ordered the oatmeal and the split pea soup, the latter, which I tasted, was also quite good. Not open very late, ideal for brunch.
I eat here regularly with friends and co-workers, and I keep coming back because I like everything about it. The menu has a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options. The food quality is excellent, and the service is fast and very friendly. It is always busy at lunch, yet I have never had to wait more than a minute for a table. Highly recommended!
I had a butchers omlette and a coffee on a cold cold day. The service was impeccable and homely. The omlette was awesome to say the least with everything in it tasting fresh. The onion petal fries will make want to go back but then, a shout out to the waiter again. She was simply an epitome of service.
This was very good food. It has a large main eating area and then a hallway of a secondary. Your standard breakfest and lunch food was here. I would not describe it as greasy. Average portion sizes priced well. The staff was very friendly. It's located at the end of a long hall. Kind of hidden away in the circle of stores at this location. I will go back.
I living cross the street of this cafe, every morning have breakfast here
Excellent service, friendly management and really good food, I haven't tried the lunch menu but if the breakfast is good Im confident that the lunch will be as good. I highly recommended! It was recommended to me by a COD teacher and I'm glad she did.
Egg'lectic is awesome. I have always had a great experience. The food is never a disappointment, if anything it's better than I imagine it will taste. Cinnamon Roll French toast is amazing literally the cinnamon roll cut into 3rds Cooked in French toast batter and then drizzled with cream cheese frosting. Customer service here is also amazing the manager is always around waiting to lend a helping hand making sure everthing is running smoothly and guest are happy. I love having Peggy as our server. She always has a smile, is energetic, and makes sure our time is enjoyable here. Peggy makes me feel like I'm at home. I've even watched her go above and beyond for other guests with out the guest asking. The food and service here are deffinately something to boast about.
This is my family's favorite place. Our son and daughter absolutely love it and always have a great time. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is terrific.
Diner feel (and prices) yet chic. My favorite breakfast spot. Super cute decor and friendly service. The banana nut french toast is to die for. Eggs Benedict is also really good.
Great food, at a fair price. Great atmosphere for the whole family. Something for everyone, the menu is chock full of gluten free, vegan and/or non dairy items. Friendly staff too!
Cosy and comfortable environment. Attentive and helpful staff. Food presented well and in a timely fashion. Bottomless coffee it seemed too. Got more crowded during my stay but never did it sound noisy or distracting.
Overall a very good experience. Very busy restaurant on Sunday mornings! The one weird thing was that I asked the waitress about the breakfast quesadilla. She said: "it's actually a burrito." This was definitely a bit strange, but she was right, haha! It was very good food, but apparently their quesadilla is also known as a burrito. Would recommend this restaurant to others.
