Always a favorite lunch stop when we are in Wheaton. The best blackened salmon that I have ever eaten and atop the Caesar salad was the bomb. Our bartender Lauren was a breath of fresh air. Upbeat, friendly and very knowledgeable!
This place has a good selection of food, love their fish and chips and beef stew. They also have kids menu which is good for my daughter and love that it comes with a scoop of ice cream. The prices are also reasonable and the service is superb specially he female waitress forgot her name. Knowing that it's just outside of our apartment is so convenient. Thank you Limerick pub my Irish husband is very happy that you're just a stone's throw away from our apartment.

Always a good time, with good food, good people and good whiskey! But I’m partial.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. A real neighborhood pub. And, sometimes there's even great music.
Love this place! Music, food, service, ambience! EVERYTHING
Delicious vegan options are not what you expect in an Irish Pub. Limerick is great and I have never had bad service.
Great food, a fun twist on a reuben (cabbage instead of sauerkraut), and rosemary mayo that is a perfect dip for their fries.
Fantastic food and great service, came for a quick lunch
I love coming to the Limerick. I have never had bad service, food or drink. I am a regular now. I make excuses to make it here. I also enjoy the live music.
It's my Local. Smart-ass bartenders who remember what I drink, good food, lots of live music.
A friend and I decided to go to Limerick Pub before going to a movie at the AMC across the street and we had a great time. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrive but it is a Tuesday night after all so I wasn’t expecting much more. After arriving we sat ourselves as instructed by an employee. I ordered a Magners Cider which was a very good cider but unfortunately the first cider I ordered had something floating in it. I let our server know and he quickly brought me another. We then ordered the mozzarella sticks which were very good. I ended up getting the veggie curry which was fantastic, they were running a special where you could get unlimited bowls for $22 but I decided against it and I’m glad I did because the portion size was huge. My friend got the Shrimp Po Boy which she described as a little overwhelming but good. Overall we had a good experience and are glad we chose to dine at The Limerick Pub tonight.
Wonderful place with nice patrons.
Went there to watch a soccer game.
Was told by regular patrons to try their food & it was delicious.
I got the prime rib Queen cut which comes with mashed potatoes and mushrooms & it was delicious and a big portion.
Meat was fresh and tasty.
The bartender Elisia was super nice and interactive with everyone.
Paid meter parking across the street.
Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.

GREAT YOUNG MAN WITH LOCS ON DUTY AND WAS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE ALL WHILE BEING SWAMPED. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE WAS GREAT FROM SEATING, STAFF, PRICING, ATMOSPHERE, LOCATION
Sat outside.
Simple good pub.
Simple good grub.
Tasty beer...
Great Irish whiskeys...
All good.
Cool spot, with good vibes and nice regulars. The Warm Chesapeake Style Crab Dip is the BEST I EVER HAD!!
Quiet & pleasant inside every time I've been. (There are also some sidewalk tables.)
Friendly & helpful servers. A bunch of whiskies.
Everything comes with a good sauce, remoulade, or aioli. The mussels are a standout.
Great neighborhood pub in Wheaton. Happy hour is happy! 2 drinks for $9 which in today's economy means a great chat with friends while winding down. I had mozzarella sticks, fish & chips, and the apple crumb tart was delicious! I'll pass on the fish and chips next time, but the mozzarella and tart will be with me forever until they remove it from the menu.
UPDATE: Fun fact every third Thursday from 8-10 locals get together to sing and play music together. My review still stands!
I love this place, even when service is slow. Except for the bartender, I wouldn't call the staff "friendly". It's almost understandable because they seem understaffed. Which is not the customer's fault.
Awesome food, well stocked bar, and a very cozy atmosphere.
I appreciate that they have an official (or not) smoking area. I wish management realized how little it does for non-smokers that choose to use the outside dinning area.
I hope they keep that section of the street closed permanently. Would be nice if they invested in permanent structures in the outdoor seating area.
Must have the salmon!
Beautiful pours of Guinness. Delicious desserts that seemed homemade. They called last call and let people linger while they got ready for the next. Good atmosphere, good people
Hello I am Sean Hardman. I am here to tell you of My Favorite Irish Pub. This Is Limerick Pub . Its Owned By An Irish Family Of Brothers . They have very Good Wait Staff . This Place is family owned and with Very Irish Culture and Traditions that have been going for Years there . This Is Inside the Wheaton Triangle areas . Its Not Far from The VFW and American Legion and Many More restaurants and stores . Parking is somewhat hard when you have to go either to the indoor Garages or The Outdoor parking areas where you have to pay expensive Meters . As You walk in the Wooden Doors , You are welcomed with the most Irish Traditional Greeting By the hosts there On the right lies the full Irish Bar full of Alcoholic Beverages Soda Fountains and more . They have Irish Traditional Music There at times . It has a very Home family feeling here with all the decorations to make it feel Like an Traditional Irish Home coming . They have a great Menu filled with Traditional Irish Delicacies Like fish and chips Irish Reubens , To Steak and Cheese Subs , Shepard's Pie and So Much More . They have a Place in the restaurant to play Irish Traditional Darts and sometimes have competitions there . Me Being Of Mixed race I was always so afraid of the Irish heritage the way things have been since the Covid pandemic and more But I am trying to not be afraid If the Traditional Irish would give me a chance to help learn and not be afraid and instead of them being afraid what they do not understand . I maybe a Mixed race Irish person But that doesn't make me any less different than anyone else . I want to work there one day to learn what I am what I should represent what I should stand for without Fear . If they give me a chance to work there someday I will Ride for the Brand proudly and With Dedication and Devotion . If You Love this Place as I do to see to its Survival , Please help support this place to get this place back to normal scheduling and more so we all can come home to this place and be as One family again . If You Love this Irish Pub as I do This Place Is For You . We All Look Forward To seeing You all there again really Soon .
I sometimes go to the Limerick for their half-priced burgers on Mondays. If you get there before 7ish, it's rarely very crowded (but never empty) and plenty of parking right across the street. The burgers are great - I get mine with the house-made rosemary mayo - and there are plenty of draft beers at half price and good sides and apps. The staff are super friendly, as are the regulars.
Definitely going to be our new go to hang out. Being new to the area, we really were treated like old friends when we visited.
It's a very chill atmosphere with a fantastic bar and even better food.
Wonderful food and very friendly! Lauren really made my friend and feel very welcomed when we were there. The wings and the Po Boy sandwich are OUTSTANDING!!!
The best brunch in Montgomery County, Md.
Just a great environment with great food. 5 STARS all around. The service is fantastic.
