This was my first time there, the food was so good! I ordered a gilled chicken banh mi, iced Vietnamese iced coffee, and bread rolls to go because I heard they make their bread fresh everyday … delicious! Had to order my boyfriend one when he got home. The chicken was lemony and seasoned perfectly. The only reason I gave the food a 4 because I wish there was more chicken in the sandwich, other wise I will be back. Also, the iced coffee was delicious and strong. If you do not like super strong coffee I would suggest you let them know beforehand. Overall, I would say this is a hidden gem in Wheaton. 😊

Pho & Banh Mi Saigonese is located in convenient location - a lot of parking spots (not free). Huge dining room with many wooden tables-seats, nice, clean, peaceful atmosphere and decorating nicely. As for service, they are OK. Anyway this restaurant the highlight is food, especially I really their grilled meat dish (pork, chicken, beef), they cook them very well. They also have variety and many selections - Pho Noodle, rice/vermicelli bowl and Vietnamese sandwich/bun. I tried all of them, they were delish and the price is very reasonable.

Husband and I visited brookside gardens and googled restaurants nearby. We chose this one based on reviews and we were so glad we did. We both loved our meals, the charbroiled beef and shrimp in our dishes were delicious and their iced coffee was perfection. The veggies in our dishes were fresh and the prices were very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the restaurant was spotless.

Grrat service and friendly staff. Nothing bad to say, its a nice little place. Fried Spring Rolls: Nicely fried with a mixture of pork. Crispy and tasty. The fish sauce mixture was ok, not tangy enough. Pho Tai: The broth has a nice smooth taste, not salty, not bland, the beef broth and spices give it a nice aroma. I felt it needed a bit more noodles, but it had a good amount of beef for a large. Its good Pho all around. Banh Bao and Banh Mi Cha Lua: The quality of the Banh Bao is fluffy and very soft, but need more filling, the pork mixture needs a bit of celery and onion for extra aroma. Banh Mi has that nice crispy bread like it should have, but the amount of cha lua was not a lot, like 5 slices for the entire roll. I still recommend this place if your a Pho fan!

Finally had a chance to try the banh mi. Got the buy 5 and get 1 free to get a few banh mi to go! Pricing is $5.50 - $6.00 each. The bread was great, but a little lacking on the meat portion. Flavors were great though. Good option if you're craving and don't want to drive to Eden and deal with traffic and parking. Got a couple orders of the chả giò and devoured them in the car. Love that they use rice paper for the wrappers. They're much bigger than other places around the area. Packed with a lot of meat. Wish they had more noodles and veggies inside though. Service was good. Very friendly. We'll be back to try more on the menu.

What keeps us coming back is that the restaurant is immaculate, and the people are friendly. Other than that, it's standard pho fare. If you're getting take out, and you like chopsticks, make sure you ask for them in the bag. I'm not too happy that they're substituting lemons for limes with the pho.

So excellent! The shredded tofu, lemongrass chicken and grilled beef vermicelli are standouts. I think this is the only restaurant in the Wheaton area that has Banh Mi sandwiches on the menu. if you are not familiar with these they are freshly baked mini baguettes filled with with Asian ingredients, pickled carrots and radishes, cilantro and jalepeño pepper slices and your choice of meats or shredded tofu inside. My fav is the grilled chicken. My family is very fond of the fresh (unfriend) spring rolls either with shrimp or tofu. Another bonus about this restaurant is that they're open in the morning. You can enjoy a hot bowl of pho for breakfast!

The proportion between bread and meat for Bahn mi is off - there is very little meat inside the sandwich, so I recommend getting double meat. Water is self serve, also pay at counter. Very inexpensive food.

My fam and I have been dining here for years. Take out or dining in this place is always consistent with flavor. Pricing is reasonable. Parking during the day is always metered and beware they always ticket. Huge fan of the pho, rice and vermicelli dishes

This place is a real gem. Both the Pho and the Banh Mi are fantastic! Actually everything I've tried here is delicious. Lovely interior for a sit-down or great for carry out as well.

The Bahn Mi (grilled pork and beef so far) are absolutely amazing. Add to it that it is fantastic bread and fresh veggies and it is an amazing sandwich. I thought that i had a tasty sandwich elsewhere previously but the bar had been raised. Definitely worth a try to all!

A friend of mine recommended Pho & Banh Mi, and based on the high recommendation, we had to stop by and give this place a try. I ordered the Grilled Beef Sandwich and Coconut Juice. The grilled beef sandwich had shredded lettuce, julienned pickled veggies, vermicelli, and charbroiled beef, with crushed peanuts on top. Wow, it was a masterpiece! BUT it is a small sandwich! I could have ordered 2 to fill me up. For this sandwich, you can choose to go with the option of chicken or pork. One of my friends had chicken fried rice, but not like in Chinese restaurants. Another had a lemongrass chicken. Two had the soup bowls, another had the pho. Everything was fresh and delicious. I could have eaten half the bowl, but I couldn't stop, it was so delicious! The wait staff are very efficient and friendly. We were a large group, and they were very accommodating. The small restaurant is in an area with other stores and restaurants, and it seems hidden away. Also, chairs are bright red and metal, but surprisingly comfortable. I'll come here again and bring more friends.
